That is about $20 cheaper than most places.
You could wait and look for a better deal but it would be awhile. 250 is probably the lowest that you would find it for.

If I didn't already have a G25 I would get that one from Amazon right now.
240 is a really good price.

I would forget the toy that is the gt7 and get a Fanatec GT2 or CSR Elite

Haha, you troll, you really do! Quite amusing.

Can get it brand new for $279.99. Is that a good price?

Umm - why not say eBay? *checks eBay* well, you're out of luck anyway, cheapest there is '$280CAD'.

Amazon.ca has one for $257 including shipping.

Best Direct / newegg / canbuyit.ca all have it for $245.XX

You can get it refurbished for $200 from \/these guys\/.

You can get it for about $230 if you go the the US, surely shipping to Canada wouldn't be that hard?

Good luck, this is definately the wheel to get, or the DFGT, at their respective price points they are untouchable. And with the kind of funds the Fanatec want, including their Forza/Porsche logos, you may as well get a T500RS, Fanatec wheels only make sense if you own a 360 as well, AND THEN only the wheels that works with 360 (GT2/CSR for $250, Good shifter for $60, Good pedals for $150, $460 vs. G27s $240 is a no brainer... Unless you own a 360 as well).

I don't trust eBay.
And shipping to the US is no problem, I have a PO box in buffalo.
And I don't to spend THAT much :lol;
I'm not a diehard GT5player, I just want to shop using the ds3.
I also want something that I can use GT6 for, and not be outdated by then
I'll pick up the g27 on amazon unless I find it cheaper somewhere by Monday.

I bought a G27 just over a week ago for £220 from Amazon, then on Monday Logitech emailed me a 35% off voucher which would've made it £180 or so directly from them, which is only just a little bit more than a DFGT... In short, if you're willing to wait, sign up for Logitech's news letter because they do occasionally send voucher codes out, but most of the time it's on a select range of products so if you want it soon it'll be a little impractical.

find a friend who works at one of those 2 big box electronic retailers in Canada. (hint, one is blue, one is red). the price for them is $210 +taxes

newegg is 220$, add 50$ and you got yourself a 4 year warranty! (should get it because these wheels motor die in a year)

Wow, so many great deals.

Is it just the G27 motors that die?
My G25 has been going strong for several years now.

My uncle is floor manager at a "blue store" location haha.
Ill go ask him what kind of discount he can get me.

Strange, mine must be defective. I've had it numerous years and it's been to hell and back with NO issues. I'm talking 10 hours of racing day after day, lighting storms, and even coffee spilled on the top through the vents. These things are bullet proof, their track record against Fanatec shows this.

Well I drift and I have my ffb settings at high. If your a drifter, these wheels last a year because of how much you turn the wheel in a minute..

Damn, but they are cheaply made, if you open it the cheapness shows, all plastic even the helical gears. I would go for the extended 3 year warranty just cause of that.

The price just went up :( they were 220 earlier this week, and a couple weeks ago it was 200$

Maybe it's just you? Everyone else everywhere else says the G27 is 'the' most reliable wheel on the market, 'the' most reliable, it's the premium Logitech and all the Logitech wheels are said to be all but indestructable, there's even a mod that puts in twice the factory voltage to give double the power, and they still last.

My advice would be turn the FFB right down, you must be using it in a way that it wasn't intended for, can't see how else you'd chew through it in a year.

seeing as he's a manager, please dont point him in my direction! :scared:

Haha he's just a floor manager, no need to worry lol.
I get a lot of stuff from him, camera equipment, tv's, computers etc.
I got my MacBook from him and it was basically a steal!

Wow!
Ill probably only be using it 1/10 as much you do

Looks like it may be too late to order it if you didn't already.

The lowest it's been was around $150 strait from Logitech (through use of a coupon code) and it's not that uncommon to find it at around $200. I think Newegg has it for that price every few months and Fry's does as well. Also good to keep an eye out for Logitech coupon codes that take a certain % off.

Haven't as yet. Just found out I have to leave the country for work so I gotta pack.
I'll see prices when I get there (Pittsburgh) and check if it's cheaper.
Pittsburgh has no tax if I remember correctly, and shipping won't be too bad because I have a PO box near the border.
I'll keep checking on Logitech though, that's for the tip
