I'm recently starting to get back into racing and I need a good learners car that teaches you car control.

Anything with around 150 HP. Honda Civics, Miatas, MR2s, what have you.

The Volvo 240 is really good to use to test your limits (and is what I would suggest), because the chassis' limits are so much higher than the car is actually capable of getting to stock.

Any low powered FR should work. And this question has been asked before,do give the search function a shot.

Shuffle racing will teach you more about controlling your car than A spec ever can.

+1 👍

  • Also, try the Mitsubishi Supra 3.0GT Turbo A '88, leave it totally stock (no tuning whatsoever) & take it to Tsukuba, if you wanna learn RWD car control, this car is totally mental & will challenge you.
  • The Clio Sport V6 22v (stock) is another great RWD car to learn in too, it turns on a 6-pence, take this baby to The Nordschliefe.
  • Try the Lotus Elise 111R '04 totally stock, but with Sports Medium tyres, it rotates so easily & always puts a smile on my face, take it to the Nurburgring GP/F & Suzuka, absolutely epic!
