Whats accurate?

Im trying to determine what cars I want to get later in the game, but the information about some cars in the prize car listing and car listing don't match up. For example the Impreza LM race car, Comaro race car, etc... I can go on if you need. Does anyone know?

I guess you are asking if any one knows which list is correct?

I do not really now for sure as there are several factors which could affect stated horespower.
1. The German game quotes higher values for HP than other versions due to a slightly different measuring unit.
2. Garage HP differs to that shown on dealer stats.
3.Effects of oil change and distance driven.

Take the Camaro race car you mentioned. The difference in HP is only 30 hp which approx 5%. That small difference should not be enough to change your mind.
Other Factors such as handling and tire wear come into play as well.
Did you know the prize cars are random and not selectable unless you know how to do the save and reload trick to win the car you want?
 
What drives me nuts is the error in the Torque listing in the US version... MR2 GT-S... 500 HP, 60 ft/lbs of torque????? And then I get correct numbers at the dealership <_< Its weird...
 
I would guess the prize car list has quoted the higher numbers after oil change and the car list has quoted the lower numbers.
No big deal.
