What's Better - BMW M3 or M5?

I find the premium M5 is good for time trials than all the other M3 models in GT5.
It seems more steady and the speed is good.
 
On the track I prefer M3
On the autobahn the M5

Theres a few tracks that resemble german autobahn. SSR7 or SSRX. Tokyo, Fuji.
But its quite hard to compared 2 different cars, with 2 different price tag.
But overall i think the M3 is more bang for your buck.
 
4-door E30 M3 for everything, but replace it with a 3.0L BMW P81 V10 used in the Williams FW24 F1 car from 2002. Plus extending the boot and flaring the fenders a bit for the wider tires necessary for such a task of 900 hp.

M3 in GT5 as well for racing. M5 for showing off.
 
I don't like the M5 as it is, I'll chop up the trunk to accomodate the 94 Ferrari F1 V12 engine and put the tank in the front.



It has a natural musk.

While the M3 may be marginally better in corners, the M5 is much more powerful, torqueful and feels much better to drive. The M5 is the only BMW I actually like.

The word Autobahn just means highway or motorway so I don't see why it has to be German. But I get you.

This is GT5 discussion, you can't do any of those things you described and sadly there isn't an E30, or engine swaps in the game.
 
M5 because it's a 4 door saloon with an awesome V10 and is a lot of fun in the corners.
Since this is a game i will take all the M3's and M5's(standard and premium)
 
In stock condition, the standard M5 '05 from the UCD is the fastest. It also handles beautifully, and the V10 is just a dream. (It's also faster than the premium M5 - mainly lighter)
