Whats in the V.I.P forums if I was a premium member?

Funny! But I agree, I think it would be a good thing to support the site. Who knows how much info that I have received fron this site??!! I just have to pony up my allowance from my wife!

I think some of us just feel guilty when we don't have the funds for things like GTP Premium membership.
Not everyone can justify the expense, especially in the current economic climate.
(And yeah, not all of us can justify the expense to our spouse! lol)

I wanted a premium membership for awhile before getting it... (as a wedding gift from a racing pal - I could not afford the expense myself these days).
I hope by the time my subscription runs out, I will have the spare cash to renew.

At any rate, I don't spend a whole lot of time in the VIP forum. But yeah, there's a distinct lack of trolling in there.
I'm not sure I've seen any candy... ??? LOL

By far the most distinctly helpful part of premium for me has been the extra space for Private Message storage.
Granted, I probably don't need to store as much as Premium allows. It's enormous amount!
But it's helpful to me because I have a friend who sends me tuning set-ups he helps me with, and I like to save them... And I do a lot of PMing because of race organizing... trying to work out schedules between people. Helps to be able to PM more than 5 people at once, and then not have my inbox full when they reply!

I've wondered this myself.

Going by the link with the pic of the "Naked chicks!!!" thread and what has been posted here there's porn and GT5 discussion. Right?

To be fair, that link needs to be updated as it is incorrect. There are no naked babes, if there are they get removed. The general rule for posting in 'The Daily Babe' thread is that the babes need to wearing what is acceptable at a public swimming pool. So no nipples or 'private areas', but some stunning pictures do get posted.

The banter and wit that gets exhibited in the premium section, is something to behold and should really be witnessed first hand. The characters that gather there are first rate. I have had premium for just over a year, and certainly don't regret it. The only thing I do regret is not doing it earlier.

The GT5 Premium forum is, as it sounds, a GT5 discussion forum for GTPremium members. There is also a dedicated GT Premium forum with more general scope, but the GT5 Premium forum is essentially the GT5 forums distilled down to their maximum usefulness and a general air of relaxation without (much) trolling, blinkered pro- or anti-fanboyism and largely useless and futile questions about why "x" isn't in the game or where "y" can be found despite being answered in the stickies.
