With Christmas right around the corner and Black Friday even closer I was wondering what GTP members were hoping the big fat man brought them this year. If you don't celebrate Christmas then what do you hope to get for Hanukkah or Kwanzaa (do you get gifts for that?).

I'm asking for sat-nav for the new Mini, I think it will be the perfect motoring accessory for the car. I'm thinking maybe a Tom Tom but who knows. Also I would like a new video card for my computer.

So let's here it.
 
My mom's asked me twice already. I've said "nothing" both times.

I wont be getting anything from my parents this year. It's taken me since August to just now hit the $1000 mark in my bank account, and I get my license in February, so i'm going to need a bit of help in the purchasing of a car.
 
Probably a DS Lite or a new graphics card. I haven't decided yet.
 
You know, I thought I'd get a game or two for this here PS3, but I think I'll have to get myself I new car first.
 
80gb PS3/Motorstorm bundle pack. With me, smashing cars into each other never gets old.
 
my parents are getting me some new speakers for my car, and some cash and maybe another present like some clothes. and my bro has left me in the dark. and same with his fiancee. i have no clue other then the speakers and money.

and as a present to myself, i am starting a savings account for a new car. and all the cash i get over christmas, and at least 25% of my paychecks will be going into this account. i have a couple cars in mind. either a GC8 subaru imprezza, some kind of older VW, and ive found come mini coopers cheap. 11000 dollars for a 2002 with 110 000 kms, british racing green, i just have to look into the insurance on one.

I'm considering asking for a used laptop or something, just to use occasionally at school, but I don't know. I was thinking MacBook, but that goes against how I am on most occasions...

I'll probably ask for some of the following:

- Mass Effect or Call of Duty 4 on Xbox 360
- Crysis on PC
- New Levis (preferably 514s)
- Some new Oxford shirts (Gap preferably)
- Lacoste Cologne
- Some new high-class cookware (I LOVE TO COOK)
- Maybe a couple of Poli-Sci books for my spare time
- Last Resort: Gift Certificates, preferably to stores such as Best Buy, Hot Topic (yep, I shop there), The Gap, or Macy's.
 
A new clutch, new brakes, new bumpers, or a computer.
 
I think I would also like a black casual blazer that I can wear with my jeans. I have a gray and brown one but for some reason I never got a black one. I know H&M (yes I shop there) has them for $45.

Cash for a Mac Mini, or a Macbook. I'd be happy with either. This Dell is pretty ancient.

Oh, and a 1:18 Kimi Räikkönen F2007 model, a 1956 Ferrari shirt, and a Scuderia Ferrari Flag.

I’m going to be poor after Christmas. Maybe I can shelve the cost of some of this stuff onto friends…
 
well since my bday is so close to christmas, my friends have basically what i wanted. I asked for a 300 dollar gift card(inviting 20 people to my party) to pay back my mom for getting me a ps3 =D.

I really just want to go snowboarding. With a group of good friends.

There are few things as heartwarming as watching a small child revel in playing with boxes and wrapping paper. Such joy it brings, except when one has to pick up the scraps. Although hearing it is a different story. So loud in my family..


But you might get a '54 convertible, too.
 
Wow, Christmas is pretty close, but OMFG my birthday's in less than a week! :eek: I'd like some cash, because I feel that would go to better use. Since I'll actually have to get some kind of car, any cash would be preferred.

I predict I'm going to have better things to spend my money on, like rent (I'm moving out on the 1st of December, or sometime in there). And the contents for a kitchen.

However, I'm probably going to be forced to do it anyway.
