I am giving you Jack for Christmas.

Aww... Talk about getting pwn3d for Xmess :ouch:

At least he knows how to empty a dishwasher (I assume :-)

No, I don’t think he can. But he can cook burritos!

Gonna get me a new PC and associated software […]
And by “PC” you mean “a Mac”, right?

I don’t really want anything for Christmas. I honestly can’t think of anything that I don’t already own that I want, except for Fireworks CS3 (I’ll probably be buying that with my own money within a week or so) and a new bike (I suppose I can just deal with my current bike for the next couple of years).

To be honest, there isn't anything that I really want at the moment apart from a Playstation 3. My family have decided to cut back on how much we spend on eachother as it's been quite an expensive year for all of us. I've also decided this year that I'm going to spend the majority of Christmas day at home as I usually end up driving from relative to relative which means I can't drink and I miss all those repeated Christmas films.

This year it should be just me the girlfriend and her grandad on Christmas day with a morning visit to my parents.

And by “PC” you mean “a Mac”, right?

I knew you were going to bitch at me for saying that.

No, I’m not getting a Mac; I can’t justify it. For $800 I can buy in a PC what would cost me $2,800 in a Mac, and I can’t justify that expense at the moment. I’ll live through another PC and when I’ve outgrown that I’ll look at a Mac again…

Oh, and Sage, you want a PS3.

for me its:
~ maybe a new Ukulele
~ money for a new Ukulele
~ a nice black jacket
~ a door-high-bar
~ some cds

viper

Well I already have my PS3...so pretty much just DVDs and PS3 games...maybe the odd PC game...few autobiographies I'm after too. Won't get much from my mother and step dad seeing as they got me the PS3 but I'm not complaining at that.

  • Wii
  • Super Mario Galaxy
  • Zelda: Twilight Princess

I find your list agreeable and I choose to approve it.

Mom, if you're reading this, I want that too...

A 20B for my car....:D Like that will ever happen....

The new Apple wired keyboard, Pulp Fiction DVD, Back To The Future Trilogy box set. That's about it.

edit: I'd like these, but I'll probably be buying them for myself anyway:

Cerwin-Vega! VE5M (pair)

A Crumpler Pretty Boy XXXL bag and a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8.

Hope to get an Archos 605 WiFi now. Nothing else really besides perhaps a project car. I do know for a fact I'll be getting a new car though

All I want is this. Heh, that thing would cost almost double what I bought my car for.

At the top of the list: The map of the internet from xkcd.com. I won't give you an exact link, lest I deprive you of the pleasure of seeing the glorius wonder that is xkcd! Other than that, the stickers from xkcd.com and some demotivators from despair.com.

Oddly, I know that I'm getting an iPod Video from my dad. Long story short: He found this wonderfully idiotic business meeting which discussed a new technology, and, at the end, free Video iPods were given to all (for educational videos, apparently...). It was open to the public, and everyone he knew went for the iPods. LuftROFL!

A ticket to the OCHO, the Toyota GT-One in production as a Hot Wheels car, a FGT for arcade mode, and some time at a go-kart or rent-a-racer event.

Yup, "I'm a simple person with complex tastes." -Calvin and Hobbes

XBOX 360 premium, with forza and pGR4. Not much else!

I would like to get a PS3.I have been asking my parents for a few days now just to get the idea in their head.
This is what my dad wants.

I don't think he is going to get either of them anytime soon.

I want ...

The Orange Box
skate.
Call of Duty 4
a car (drivers test on dec. 5:crazy:)
gift cards for zumiez, hot topic, gamestop and pacsun
iPod Touch

... for Christmas:) (not all of them just one or two)

Mainly just some Blu-ray movies. Christmas is generally just a small thing, where we don't spend huge amounts of money, but just get one or two little gifts for everybody. The last few years have actually been kind of funny, because the base of the Christmas tree is littered with DVD-shaped packages.. hehe. I try to mix things up a bit by putting the DVDs into other boxes. :)

Anyway, all I'm really after are the big Hollywood releases from the summer, the ones I haven't picked up yet. Spider-Man 3, POTC 3, Shrek 3, Lost S3 (seeing a pattern of threes here..), etc. Maybe Uncharted for PS3. Other big-ticket items like an iPhone or new guitar I'll just pick up on my own later.

Money money money. Sounds a bit... meh, but I seriously need some to hang around in my bank account. I had £9.23 in there last thursday...

A Crumpler Pretty Boy XXXL bag and a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8.

I love Crumpler. Particularly the product names - I almost bought a laptop bag called the Considerable Embarrassment.

Well, the only things I can think of for my dorm are a 35"+ LCD TV, a 360 or a PS3. I'll probably think of some much more practical things two or three days after though.

A PS3 to begin with, my girlfriend did offer me one if I found a new job but I've failed, so my last hope is on good ol'Santa-Girlfriend*. Elsewhere erm... A Tom Brady shirt? Since I've been working pretty late lately, I've been watching NFL and I think I'm pulling for the Patriots.

Otherwise, just some small things perhaps a compact camera for me and Laura to share and some Tattoo vouchers, finally give me the urge to get the bugger done.

*Laura + Little Miss Santa Outfit x PS3 = Happy Times.

A weekend trip to Vegas, Tein coil-overs or Apexi Ni ExTi

Heh, weird; my girlfriend's been in Vegas over the past weekend, and is coming back tomorrow. That'd be on my list... but we're just doing that for reading week in February for a full week.

My holiday wishlist:

Wii + SMG
A nice quality, black peacoat
New HD for the computer (school stuff takes up a ton of space).
A replacement iPod for the one I lost. The 80gb is too good a deal now.

Personally though, money is never bad. I'm just happy to have got a job before the season, it means I can get people what I really want to. Plus, it'll provide me with nice discounts down the road (Zara's got some decent clothes, heh).

Some new Levers and rearsets for the bike thank you very much.👍
