What's so special about the RUF?

I personally was kind of dissapointed. I mean, for being a hopped up Porche, I expected better performance than other car's in it's class. After all it is a Porshe.

The CTR2 is a tough animal to tame, but it can be done. First off, take traction control to 2 (just enough to do some good) and take off ASM. Set your gearing to your track and you'r good to go.

The 3400 is nice, but seems slower than it is

Yeah, the 3400S *feels* kinda slow...if you watch the speedo, you'll realize it's just a torquey li'l beast and doesn't need to constantly rev its guts out to go fast. The handling....ooohhh baby...it's just *good*. :fdevil:

I hated RUF until i won and tried RGT! Its pretty good after all! Its the best looking of the bunch too!

I have the RGT and have noticed that when the car is down shifted to third while turning it seems to act up a bit.

I haven't tried them, but unless they weigh near what race Vipers or Vettes might, I doubt it. I'm pretty sure it's luxury related.

I agree totally, risingsoon. I just bought a 3400S and I love it. The handling is really precise and understeer is never a problem. I lowered it about 5 mm front and back. I haven't got the full customization suspension yet, but when I can change the spring rate and lower the car more, it will be even better. You gotta love the horizontally opposed engine. What are you gonna win the Boxer Spirit race with? A Subaru? Hahaha.

Actually, yes. I've won both the Beginner and Amateur Boxer races with my WRX.

I make fun of it a lot, but it truly is a good machine. In the game, and in real life. Still don't know. My 3400S is FR and it handles better than the 4WD WRX. Remember the blue one in the race? Yeah, I smoked it.
