I found that the Camaro "Edge Edt." (even though it's the same as a reg. Camaro) is a very stable and easy-to-drive car, even with all of the assists off!
Install the following parts:
Lightweight windows
Carbon/painted carbon hood
GTAuto Wing C<put to max dwnforce
Front/Extention Aero<optional
Racing Air Filter
Fully Customizable Transmission<optional
Twin Plate Clutch
Semi-Racing Flywheel
Carbon Driveshaft
LSD<optional
Sports suspension<use if you have little/no knowlage of tuning
Fully Custonizable suspension<use if you have experience in tuning
Racing Soft<Use if you are Still learning the track/trying w/o assists for 1st time
Sports Softs<use if you want to use in competition(seasonal FR)
Comfort Softs<use if you want a challenge/want to drift
*The following should work with the regular camaro if you cant get "edge edt."

Post here if you have cars that would be good for beginners to learn from.

*Be sure to post parts if they are in the setup
*ALthough Suspension setups are allowed, they are discouraged because most beginners(like me!) have little/no knowladge about tuning suspensions or their affects

I would avoid Camaro ss for starts, if this is count as advice for begginers. There is a thread concerned about this topic, too, if you look around ( actually, I dont remember ). But, here are my preferences:
¤ mx5 miata ( or any the zillions versions ) fully stock at the a spec begginers level, engine stg 1, turbo stg 2, cs or ss tyres. Fun to drive, easy and nice at curves. The official begginers car.
¤ The prize cars VW lupo gt cup and the Mogul Mugen Civic 87 race cars.
¤ Peugeot 205 2.0 16 '85. Available at Ucd time to time. Stock, fast acc, good handling, nice breaks.
¤ 350 Z gt limited '04, SLK 220 '00, Fiat 500 1.2 '08 ( engine stg 1, turbo stg 3, all aero installed )
So this is the cars that is always fun to drive for me, since the beggining....
hope I helped,
Cheers!!!

Depending on the beginner and what they're trying to learn, something FWD like a golf or civic would be good just to learn the racing lines.

Moving up to a miata or similar would be good to learn some RWD technique.

For me the Lancer X. Used it a lot. Great handling, grip and can even win the Super GT race in the Extreme series when fully tuned.

I'd say a Suzuki Cappucino.

Not very fast, easy to control, but you can easily slide it around if you need.

That being said, my learning car was a Miata:dopey:

I started with the SS Trueno, on full N/A tune with pretty much all the other tuning parts (not the turbos) with Sports soft tires, then took it to Deep Forest. Practiced until I got down to 1'23.xxx then picked harder tires and practiced more. It's a good car for learning on. It's easy enough to drive, without killing yourself, but hard to make it go fast because there are glaring issues with the chassis. The best part about it, is once you've driven that car and are somewhat decent with it, newer better cars seem super easy to drive.

My friend who was learning (and having problems with even the easier cars) tried my 07 mustang and had no problems laying it down around the track as long as TC was on.

I would say get the car that's going to let you run the most early A-Spec events. Something FF, under 20k with at least 200HP.

Nobody has mentioned the MX-5? By far the easiest learner car and great fun too, even when stock.

Edit: Yup, somebody mentioned it already but for good reason.

i personally find the impreza series, lancer series, suzuki swift, focus, golf, and most used nissans to be great for learning proper driving technique, each one for its own reasons. :)

Just get a racing kart.

It is so cheap and even you're on Level 0 and have spent your last credit, you just have to do complete some license, get to Level 1 and get it for free.

True! It's amazing to teach the basics of RWD driving for someone.

I would say the LanEvo IX or X... its just too... easy!

I'd say something well-balanced. The definition of well-balanced may differ from player to player, so I can't really say much about this.

Now if I were to recommend a car, I'd say the EK9 Civic. Good response, handles great and sounds nice too. It's not that hard to make an EK9 go fast. Mainly suspension settings help the Civic get faster.

Most 4WD cars are easy to handle even with all assists off. You might want to start with a Lancer Evolution or Impreza WRX STI. The NSX is the easiest RWD car to handle from my experience (except the Super GT versions and NSX-R Prototypes).

👍 the STI, you can NOT get that car to bite back for a mistake unless you do something truly idiotic.. its SO easy to drive.. i wouldnt be so quick to label the NSX as quite forgiving, its smooth, but push it to about 9/10ths thru the wrong corner and the tail will always come around on you.. at least with my 1995 car.. dont get me wrong, learn to handle it at the limit and its a hoot to drive, but not quite what i would call forgiving. my 3rd car ever bought was a Camaro SS (that i now tuned) but when it was stock in the early days i found it very forgiving and easy to drive, the tail will only come around on you if you provoke it, and when it does step out its very gradual, theyre a good car to learn to drift with because theyre so forgiving. Plus theyre fun to collect (i just picked up my 12th one today, and thats just the stockers).
