Hey guys
Recently ive heard lots of stuff on different posts about the physics in online mode

So i was just wondering
Whats the difference?

Apparently it's down to the up rated clutch and flywheel, keep them standard and you should be ok on non RM cars. It may be easier to just use sports tyres offline and racing tyres online.

Can you dumb it down? Use 1st to 5th grade vocabulary.

I thought this was addressed in the 1.06 patch?

They've added the option to change tyre wear and fuel. But the physics are still different.

Actually, the number of stars changes the accuracy of the physics also. It's just too bad that more stars also mean more lag.

Is this confirmed?? I host rooms all the time, sometimes with varying race quality settings (Some of my friends can't stay connected at higher settings) and I have noticed no difference in physics between star ratings.

I never realized that. I usually try to host rooms with the highest setting available. I have a wired ethernet cable so that helps, especially if it's a small room (4-6 drivers).
