Okay, drifting and drafting are 2 totally different subjects

Let's stay on track here (no pun intended)
Anyway, I personally learned that drafting is on GT3 and I used it with my F090/S the first time ever on the Super Speedway and Test Course. It does really come in handy sometimes. If you use the first person view, you can hear the wind as you drive. When you get in another car's slipstream and you are drafting, that wind noise stops. It gets so nice just hearing the engine winding.
Drafting helps you keep up with someone, make up time quickly, and pass them, if you do it right. It's not too hard. I raced the Hard Level Test Course on Arcade with my F090/S. I ended up drafting right behind the Mazda 787B the entire race. I occasionally pulled by him, then he quickly passed me back. So I just stayed with him. There was about 7 or 8 seconds behind me to third place. Anyway, on the last corner of the last lap, I dropped off a bit behind the 787B, but stayed in the draft. As soon as the track began to straighten, I pushed the throttle all the way down. I quickly gain speed, and get closer and closer really fast.
By this time, we are about 150-200 meters from the finish line. I am up to about 225-230 mph. Instead of ramming the Mazda, which would have been foolish and a losing effort at that, I come up right behind him, then quickly turn to the right to avoid hitting. I breeze by the 787B, cross the finish line first, and steal the win away. I saved the replay. I think it was only 5 laps, but it is funny to stare at me riding his rear bumper for 5 laps, then shooting past at the last second.
Sorry for such a long post... :burnout:
