OK, so we all have our favourite corners, the ones that we couldn't live without. But what about the corners you hate? You know the culprits, the ones that ruin your hot laps. The ones that make you gnash your teeth every time you take the wrong line and end up in the wall the wrong way round:mad:

My personal nemesis is the last corner on the Swiss Alps rally stage. So many times I've got lazy, lost concentration, thinking about the win, and got on the power too early, bringing the tail round and hitting the wall, allowing the trailing car to pass me and cross the line........AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH:mad: :banghead: :irked:  :banghead: :irked:

GOTTA be the BAD 180 at Monaco... The one where if you go too low you get stuck on the inside wall and if you go too high you get stuck on the outside wall.

You're buggered any way you go, so you may as well wallride... :p

I hate that too, that little curb on the inside of the corner that slows you to a standstill. Actually I don't care for the Monaco (Cote d'Azur) track much at all. Love watching the F1 on it though;)

Also the 'Screw at Laguna can **** you right up as well... Get it right and drift right through, bugger it and you either hit a wall or spin it. What I hate is when you go too high on the approach to the 'Screw and hit the rumble strip - bounce up on two wheels, career right into the wall, and say bye-bye to any lead you had... :irked:

Any corner on SS R11. Particularly, however, the one under the overpass on the back side of the track, by the building with "GT3" in the lighted windows. There is no possible way to take that corner at any speed whatsoever without understeering into the outside wall. And the inside wall is like flypaper; touching it grabs the nose and sucks it in.

Ooh yes! I know that feeling:(

The corners I dislike are the ones on Complex String that are 90 degrees. There are so many of those and the only way to not go to fast into them is to turn onto the rumble strip going through the corners because they are so tight.

Under the overpass? Over the underpass? Wha? :D

That's a ***** of a corner. The corner I hate in SS R11 is the left-hander before the back straight - you think you've braked right, only to put the power down... And barrel into the outside wall... :irked:

I really can't stand that track, I wake up in cold sweats thinking about that;)

Nah, I love SS R11, but that one corner...

The second corner in Super Speedway is annoying... Get the F1 onto the grass in that corner and watch yourself sliiiiiiiide...

Am I right in thinking that SS R11 is the track with many, many hairpins?!? I've been playing GT since the day it came out and I still can't remember the tracks which don't have proper names.....duh!:O

Indeed, that's it. Plenty of hairpins...

Thought so. Actually, I guess there are no bad tracks in GT3, but that one has to be my least favourite.

Haha, I feel your pain SS. During our F1 competition at SSR11, that was the one corner that kept screwing up each of my laps.

test course then lol:lol:

i quite like the 'screw on leguna its just a matter of practicing when i started the game i could get around that corner alright but every time id forget about the last corner! it was usually in my viper i just go straight into the gravel trap and bash the wall  and i h8 that corner at monoco if u stay on the inside rumble strip u will almost certainly spin if u try to accelerate no matter what car :irked:
my personal evil least favourite corner is the right-left-right on apricot hill i can never get around it with any car with over 200hp:lol: im not sure why tho!:odd: its not really that difficult is it?!

The last turn of laguna seca after the cork screw, hard break followed by a sharp left turn. Going too fast on that straight (which is deceiving because you can't see the turn) is usually a death sentence. The corkscrew itself is easy with a light throttle foot, but with a bathtub like the Dodge Viper, it's still a tricky turn.

The turn that is two turns before the tunnel on SSrt5II (so it the RIGHT before the left before the tunnel). I can never get the lin right on that. After two and half years I can't say I've improved much at all.

And I'll have to agree with neon duke about that total BS left under the bridge in rt11. Impossible to take in either direction.

A horrible turn for losing time is 180R on Midfield - at the top of the hill before Horseshoe. Horseshoe itself isn't too great either.

The turn entering the tunnel (before T2) on Trial Mountain is a pig too.

The trial mountain turn, is that the one with the moneky above it?
Because yeh that one sucks, I still haven't golded that B-Licence

Nope - it's monkey, right, small tunnel, then the horrible left corner, then the long tunnel.

You have to turn in whilst you're still well inside the short tunnel and get right over the yellow markings on the inside...

Hrm, that left doesn't bother me much; mostly it's a matter of turning in very aggressively.

When you run over it 80-odd times in a stock Speed 12, it wears on you a little :D

The super-tight hairpin at Monaco... way too easy to get the racing cars stuck onto the inside curb... the right-hander following that is pretty brutal too, in that a car will often come slamming into my rear right there.

The stupid thing at SSR11 is also bad (I could never even make it through without crashing for about 5 months, and I still often hit it).

I also have trouble with one corner at Tokyo... the one after the back "straight" (the red part)-- after that is a pretty sharp right-hander where you can make or lose a lot of time, and I tend to slide the back out too much.

Ah yes - I know the one at Tokyo. It's a pig both ways.

Handily the signs on the wall right where you'll hit say "Bosch"... A predictive onomatopoiea? :D

I don't mind SS R11 really, but I hate the first corner . . . that corner just sucks, and I also hate the last chicane. But I hate the course backwards . . . it's just terrible that way.
