Besides, we Americans aren't that bad. ;) Oh, and Horses thanks for helping us understand the AUP, 👍 I'm sure most of us could stand to read it again.

as a GB racer i've noticed that I do tend to get punted more by Spaniards than other nationalities but, at the same time I have had some great races with some of them too.

You can not tarnish everyone with a broad brush, just add the bad drivers to the black list!

Oops you just through out the racism word in a subject that has nothing to do about race.

-100 to OP idiot.

the word racist is used to frequently now a days well i wont go into it but in england its bad but i suppose you cant say because 1 guy punts you dont make it sounds like the whole god damn country not every bodys a terrorist eh.

Punters are punters, hacks are hacks and bad drivers are just bad drivers. They are out there in force,I don't care were they are from.In a race, when it's bad,I pm my friends and just say"punters night out".If I catch thier psn I will use it to let them know who to watch out for.The country never comes into it.From all the closed threads I have seen,I wish more would adopt this train of thought. You don't have to use the country to get the point accross that the punting is bad.Just stop and think before you post,it saves the mods some time and hassle also.

There are bad players all over the the world. I just take punters in my stride now, regardless of where they're are from. No point in stereotyping people because of their flag.

I've found mostly the American drivers seem to be the fairest, I usually get punted by a Spaniard or an Italian. But tonight I got punted by a GTP member, and an Australian at that! (I'm from the land down under)

Couldn't handle the fact that the Z06 is faster in a straight line than his GTR was, evidently. So I guess they can come from anywhere...

who cares?
things like racism will be with us till the end of the world.
but if PD give us private rooms problem will be solved very gently

I think people tend to be more courteous to their own country rather than others. And through my xbox live experiences there are not to many people outside the U.S. who have any respect for us.

The thing is, as many have stated earlier, that people generalize a whole country, for example, I'm from Mexico and have been to the U.S. many times and there's no putting aside that some Americans look down to us, so I could generalize and say that Americans are racists, which is not the case as I also have a lot of American friends, so people just need to stop generalizing a country, continent or culture just for the sake of it because it makes no sense at all.

👍 +1 That is the way many of us feel. The only thing I have, is I'm against illegals, yes they want a better life, but they need to go about it the same way as everyone else. The surplus populace of illegals makes it harder for people to get into the United States, those who are trying to do it right. Many illegals are Mexican, I can't help that, but there are also illegals who are not Mexican, but I do not look down at Mexicans for that reason, just the ones who sneak into the country wrongly.

(P.S. don't use cuz instead of because, I don't know how well you know the AUP but using shortcuts or "txt" language like that, are against the AUP and the mods take it very seriously ;))

Didn't know "cuz" was also considered txt speak, thanks for the heads up:).

I know that when I see a grid full of drivers from other countries, I'm on my best behavior, hoping to get a better race than I usually get from home and Canada.

I dont know about you guys and girls..But i take pride in those two letters after my online name..when i started playing gt5 online my attitude towards other drivers was. lets say a little AI-ish.. thats not to say i am a bad driver.but my consideration towards the other real people i was now playing could have been better.. nowadays i do just that, show consideration towards others.. and hope that they too have pride in those two little letters after their online name..:)

Racism is an expression of opinion, right?
I am not a racist.
This is not my opinion, and therefore not a racist comment.
This is a statement of fact;
I have never encountered, online, a Spanish driver who races cleanly.

Apologies to any Spanish members of this forum. If you race cleanly, I simply have not had the good fortune to race against you.

I've met a couple online.

On a side note I now hate all russians, since some swine in a tuned viper totally handed me my ass on a plate last night on Fuji. I've never seen one of those things go that fast and I demand the whole landmass is sunk immediately :grumpy:

You're just trying to out-grump me

They do exist I promise you, theres a guy called Pillat[ES] who is very fast and clean, its an honour to race the guy and I have seen a few others.

There you go, you just can't judge a country based on a handful of Drivers, there has to someone clean Racing from there, Well done to this Pillat[ES] fellow who races clean, he will certainly stand out and get plenty of recognition for his great racing!;)

I have been punted by people from all countries so I wouldn't single any one of them out. As a matter of fact it seems clear to me that anyone will punt you into a wall or sand trap if given the opportunity. I now spend most of the race applying brakes and watching punters miss and hit the same wall or sand trap that they were attempting to place me in (Sadly this still slows me down and keeps me off pace with the front runners ). The one thing that never changes is that it is all different drivers from all different countries.

By the way it isn't racing online, it is BUMPER CARS....

I hope by now players of this game know that the flag had NOTHING to do with a person's race or where does that person resides.

Rascism will ALWAYS exist in every aspect of everyone's life as long as human exist. What we can do is to help minimize it but it will never go complete away.

There are differences between everyone's culture. I know this first hand, because I work for a foreign company. I have to act and react differently because their personalities are different to what we are used to in the UK.
The English, Scots, Irish & Welsh are all different to each other fer chrissakes!
So it's feasible that someone from a certain culture will react in a certain way to a certain situation.
So what I'm trying to say is......maybe the Spanish can't help it. It's not their fault. It's in their genes. :)

The way I see it, it doesn't matter what country you're from. You are there to have fun and race. Every country has some rotten apples. You just have to find the good apples.

I have found that the spanish & japanese drivers do tend to be the worst ones out there in general. Everyone seems to be a little courteous to their own countrymen too which is good 👍
