What's with certain rooms saying "No U.S.A."???

I was heckled and kicked from an American lobby for typing "bonjour."

Just enter the exclusionary lobbies and say that you are there on a visa. ;)

The proper french greeting, anyway, is "Salut". FYI ;)

@ fet_thunderdome : 👍 If you just switch USA with Italian in your post, I could've posted the same thing. :D

I think it all depends on the room host and stuff. With the "UK Only" rooms, I guess it's because the UK guys want to hang out with the other UK racers. Personally, I'll join any room that interests me, including American ones. I have friends from all over the world, from Austrailia to Germany to America, so I don't really care where you're from, as long as you don't piss me off, I'll race with you. lol

I've only restricted the 'type' of people in my room once... and that was "Noob drifters only", because I wanted to practice drifting without having the pressure of all the good drifters out there watching me, I thought it would be a room where all the 'noob' drifters like myself could just hang out and crash together lol.

Retardation knows no geographical boundaries.

Exactly:tup:

And when you see a room hosted by a canadian saying "no US" or QC only" they obviously are francophone quebecers who wanna chat in french, that's all. I wouldn't take it personal.

As for the "get out of here stupid american" comments, unfortunately there are narrow minded people in every countries. Being from Québec myself, it makes me ashamed when I witness something like that :(

Living in the only francophone province of an anglophone country makes some people feel easily threatened. Please forgive these people.

Lets face the facts, most of us U.S. gamers are young arrogant pricks.
I'm not one of them, but you get the picture.

I havent had many problems with americans, they seem pretty ok.
However i roam on top gear alot and my extremely bad experiences have been with French and spanish people. For some reason 90% of the time ill go in a "No X1" room and there will be one french guy in a X1 s vettel that he probably got for free. :banghead:
Today i was doing some clean races on top gear with spanish guys, 1st race was good and clean, no cutting.. i kicked their ass.

Next race he gets a nissan r390 road car out and cuts every corner on the track! Arrrrgggg

The truth is they are afraid to race us here in the states. They know we will dominate them and they just get tired of seeing our tail lights.

People like you are the reason that these rooms exist :dunce:
