You could probably say in RL it comes with Soft Sports as Yokohama make tyres specially for the the Elise and Exige. The 111R is a great car in game even without RM.

surprised, not one mention of the missing 7 or the Europa. I had the pleasure of owning the only brown '74 JPS Europa(by definition a JPS was black...) true story. I also took my sister around the Key Bridge(IRC) circle in DC at 100mph in it, nifty car that duplicated the Ferrrari's .78 gee of that year. Pirelli's of course

the Lotus Elise 111 handles horribly in the top gear challenge which is odd for a well-balanced lightweight car that is among the best handling cars in the real world

Honestly the lotus in the top gear challenge does handle great, it's not easy, but it handles great.

True, a couple more cars from the Lotus lineup would be nice. As would being allowed to add a supercharger to the 111R. But if that were so, someone would just be complaining about not being able to do a motor swap instead, or a 4WD conversion, or turning the damned thing in to a spaceship so that they might fly to the moon. There will always be something more they could have done, but because of the constraints of REALITY, such as time and budget, it won't happen. Sorry to burst your bubble.

4WD would be nice:tup:, and maybe the V8 from the Esprit:tup:👍, maybe you could James Bondify it. Have guns and self destruct buttons and ejector seats and tyre stingers and everything

I thing that The Top gear challange forces you to have worse tires than your oponents, to force you to use Grip Recovery. I can imagine that this is intended for you to see how Grip Recovery works.

Grip recovery? Do you mean the physics melting SRF? Also known as "that which can make the FGT drivable".

Not sure what you mean by that, but I've always had quiet a disliking for the way it looks and I grew up loving the old Lotuses I saw in the James Bond movies.

But the fact that it doesn't corner like everyone says or go remotely fast enough pisses me off.
