I only add clean drivers who have very good connections in GT5. If you'd like to try & race according to the principals in The GT Planet OLR & The Good Racecraft Guide, then shoot me a friend request, & if you're connection isn't laggy, I'll see you out on track. :)

Well.Ive done my homework now.You are a PRO so i guess you need PRO friends online.Anyway maybe i'll add you but i will not try to race with you, not until i know more. Now im next to 0.1% of any PRO virtual racer.

Started as a hobby but i like it more and more.
Too bad i will not have plenty of time , im a musician, the other "hobby" of mine
hey..can you teach people online?

So a Thrustmaster t500 rs has the wobble but no options to tune it?
i was sure T500 is THE wheel but now..

That is the only wheel i have no experience with,so sorry i can't help you out with that one sorrel,i do know it has no settings on the wheel itself,as for the wobble i don't know.

And maybe its related to topic.

If i crash a car in a race it needs immediately structure repair?
Can the wheel work like this because of just a crash? (in real life it is for sure)

How a car with damaged structure will feel?

Yes, people can be taught online. Go & sign up with the GTP Racing School for some one on one tuition.

Mechanical car damage only applies in online racing, not offline, which only has cosmetic damage. Cosmetic damage is repaired automatically when you quit the race. Online damage has 2 levels, light & heavy, if set to light it will repair after a short period of time, if set to heavy you'll need to pit to repair it.

If you get damage online that affects your wheels, then you steering wheel will reflect that damage, it might wobble or be wonky.

If you damage you car a lot online, it will feel very hard to drive, & might even result in a loss of speed.

I have a G27 and in my opinion it's fine the way it is, I like it very much, I really don't mind the wheel shaking really bad because I normally would use my DS3 if I want to drive a X1 not that I have one. Fanatec is a really good product but get the Thrustmaster T500 RS countersteering is SUPER QUICK! officially supported by GT5 how ever you need to buy the H SHiFTer and the better pedals to make it the perfect simulator for GT5.

I played the entire game with my G25 on force feedback at max. I got gold on every single event and special event and never experienced what you described. The X1 is a wild car and requires a strong hand but it is manageable once you get used to it. Now I'm playing with a Fanatec CSR and I feel no difference in the way the wheel feels in this game. You should try your wheel on a PC racing game like GTR or Rfactor and see what happens.

Thx.I am totally a Mac user so just to try IRacing i used Parallels on a Macbook Pro 2011.Well in Parrallels the graphics were a bit slow but the wheel feels FANTASTIC great. No dead zone ( its true i did only a few laps but still)
Tried IRacing before opening this post.I want GT5 tho.

So its a GT5 issue i guess.

If you are great on GT5 with this wheel then i think you got a talent.I fiind gold very hard to reach.

i read all about T500 but i wonder if its worth the investment.
By better pedals you mean the cell brake mod?

I have a G25 and all the problems you've posted only occur in GT5. Yes, the wheel is kind of loose, and it shakes when you're going down the straight. But it's not G25's fault, it's the way GT5 is made. Try rFactor or any other realistic sim on your computer with the G25 and you will see.

I'm not really sure if it's worth investing on, I mean if you are super rich go for it but you know if your a bit short on cash then probably stay with your G25 because there is nothing wrong with it wait till it breaks then buy the Thrustmaster. No, I'm not talking about the cell brake mod, if my memory serves me right a cell brake mod acts like the spring so it is more realistic? Here is the pack/combo you should get.

Ofcourse get the shifter as well, way realistic like I said before if you don't have much cash then stick with your G25 because this kind of setup will cost you hundreds of dollars, this is like best of the best!

I really like th shifter from Thrustmaster.

I think ill live with my G25 for a while to learn.more about racing.

I can drive with it almost every car, the wheel go wild with fast ones like GT Formula and up.What i really need is breaking lessons and throttle control.I guess a good set of pedals will do the trick but i try to learn G25's pedals for now.

Thank you all or tips and help.

The g25 is a competent wheel.

When I got my g27 over a year ago, I would drive the x2010 without the power pack plugged in, because it was too radical and twitchy.. Then I gave up on it completely.

New Years resolution THIS year was to gold the vettels! Golds in 4 hours with ffb 5.. I surprised myself!!

Practice...

Hi there.My first post here.
I need some help with my G25 wheel.

I dont know if this is normal but at high speeds i cant control cars.
The worst is the Red Bull, i cant even keep it straight becouse of heavy shaking. Its like running on the dirt road.
In my opinion this wheel that i bought as new not working correctly in GT5.

As far as my experience goes, this is actually completely normal considering the G27 and the G25 are both really powerful wheels. You might not be holding the wheel with a firm grip, because it will shake side to side if you don't hold it properly and this is pronounced more in cars that have high lateral grip.

If you've tried adjusting your grip and you still find that the wheel is still shaking side to side then I suggest that you try and change the FFB strength in the options menu from GT Life. It's the one that looks like a gear. Scroll down to the screen that has the wheels on it and select "General Wheel Options" (I think it's called this, but it has a DFP wheel with an arrow rotating the wheel). Adjust the FFB strength to a level that suits you and you're done :) .

I guess a good set of pedals will do the trick but i try to learn G25's pedals for now.

Seeing as your G25 is second hand/pre-owned, I recommend that you buy the Nixim Brake & Clutch modifications. I have them installed on my pedals & they feel absolutely great, it'll make the brake progressive more like a real brake, & the clutch will be stiff with a shorter throw like in certain real life race cars. I don't recommend the accelerator spring though, having a lighter one works better for me anyways.

Did you try and lower the FFB setting like I suggested?

From the moment i got the wheel i used all kind of combo between FFB and power steering.

I like a strong force in the wheel but if i set it to 10 the wobble/dead zone is more evident and its harder to drive fast cars (for me)

What i would like more is a strong force on all positions of the wheel even in dead center.

You might have to turn it down when using cars that have a high cornering G's.
