I'm currently deciding to buy a PSP game (Shock, horror to those that know me :) ) because I'm getting bored with the psp's internet capability.

Right now I'm looking at Monster Hunter Freedom, Street fighter Alpha 3, TOCA 2 / 3 , SOCOM or Tekken 5 DR when it comes out.


Topping the list right now is Monster Hunter Freedom. The others I'm comtemplating are there because I'm worried I'll get bored with MHF.
Also, are there any online psp games worth playing (RPG preferably).
 
I'm not into NFS.. not really into the stylistic racing genre. Apart from the old wipeouts.

Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
 
I've heard bad things about NFS:MW on the PSP. I have NFS:U and it's alright though (got it with the system).

My recommendations would be SOCOM, Hot Shots Golf, Burnout Legends, and Wip3out Pure. Ridge Racer was also a fun one, although I don't own it.

Me and My Katamari was pretty good as well, but you might be put off by the fact that the game can be beaten easily in a week.

EDIT: Ohh ohh, almost forgot. I've heard great things about Siphon Filter: Dark Mirror.
 
Colin mcrae 05, such a good game, or toca 2 for the depth of it, by far the two best games on psp.

what ever you do, dont buy wrc! its awful.

Syphon Filter Dark Mirror is brilliant - on and offline!

You can play for example a team deathmatch online, cant remember the amount of players might be 5-10 in a team, there is other types of online play but i cant quite remember!

The single player is exellent too and the controls are fairly decent!
 
I'd say GTA: Liberty Cuty Stories. I bought it today and its a great port to the PSP. Loading times are good and looks really good.
 
Wipeout Pure is a good 'un, I'm really enjoying Metal Gear Ac!d 2 currentally aswell.

GTA is a decent attempt, controls can get confusing though so watch out. Lumines is probably the biggest suprise, super addictive!
