I've spent a lot of hours driving in Assetto Corsa, and so far, I really enjoyed the X-Bow the most (It could change when the full car list start rolling :)) . It's very agile and easy to drive. I'm sure some other drivers here better than me can push it further to it's limit, but so far I'm enjoying it even though I spun out countless of times already.

What about you guys?

Edit: I'm using a semi slick tire with 23 psi

Also, name which tires you like using most on each car.

This is a bit hard, because I don't really care for any of them. Hopefully mods will appear sooner rather than later since KS's list doesn't hold much appeal to me either. With that being said I guess my favorite is the Elise on street tires, though I wish it was a series 1 with the Rover K series engine.

Edit: The Evora on street tires.

Howdy folks! :)

After ver 0.6.6 came out, I have to go with the Mclaren GT3. I love the sounds and feel of the car. Offline, I set up a little mini Blancpain Racing Series where I select the main tracks like Monza, Silverstone, Mugello, etc, put in what AI cars I want to run against like the Ferrari, Pagani, 4/5, BMW, etc. (if I go any higher than 81% skill, they run off and leave me), do some testing on my setup to get it as fast as I can ( a testing week ), then I set my car to have as much fuel as needed (tires and fuel at +1), then I run three races on the same track of 10 laps each. I take the average place from the three races and that is my placement for the event. I then move on to the next event. The AI are wild on purpose so I hang around the back and wait for an opening. If I can get through to about 5th or so, I can usually hold it. I have been in 1st several times and pushed the car too hard and on balding tires lost it! I use the super soft slicks for the short races. But it is a total blast!

I have rFactor 2, all the codemaster games (I love to rally too) and Assetto Corsa which means "Race Prepared" is the BEST race sim out there!! I LOVE IT!!! I am new here as I just stumbled on to this site.

I have raced at CMS for years. My only problem in online racing these days is I am recovering from stage 4 cancer battle (now cancer free) but my energy level is very low. So I may just do some hot lap stuff or whatever. But if Assetto gets a GT3 series going, I won't be able to resist!!! Tired or not!!! :)

Only cars I've bothered to drive beyond a quick try, are the Abarth and BMW E30.

My personal favorite has to be the BMW GT3 car.
Tried this a couple of days after my post above, and it's my new favorite. It has an incredible "road feel", is balanced and just glues to the track, even on hard slicks. Wonderful! :)

Been a bit over a month since I replied to this thread and still the Abarth is the only car I find myself driving in A.C. I still find rfactor and the Historix mod my first choice to drive.

Sorry I cannot help you with this thread as usually my favorite, is the one I am driving until I drive an other one.
I would have to post here too often.:dopey:
They are all great really.
They feel different but all have the AC ( magic) physic.
There is one I least like, but not to the point of not still enjoy driving it.
Sorry. :sly:

^I'm with you Cote. Best one is the one I find myself in.

Right now I'm taking the 458 on street tyres and losing myself in Imola. Can't get enough. When I'm looking for octane I love the Zonda R on Monza and Silverstone.....over and over again. I'm being patient with all the cars. Haven't spent much time in any of the Lotus' or the open wheel cars.

Don't think I can pick one right now.

(maybe the Zonda R.....shhh....)

Cars with a low center of gravity.

For me, it's currently the F40, but I plan on driving quite a few cars on Saturday and maybe I'll find another just as fun. I haven't yet driven the MP4-12C GT3 Spec yet, so we'll see.

Boy that McLaren name was a mouthful...

Make sure to download some mods for it! Especially the sound mod. It really adds a lot of realism to it.

The MP4 GT3 is one of my favorite car to drive now, also with modded standard Lotus F1 (Turbo sound) and modded sound Ferrari 312T. They are fun car to drive, especially when you set them up properly.
