President of Mazda, also said that, the Spirit R was not the last we would see of the RX-7. So, it apears that the RX-8 is not a replacement for the RX-7, but merely a another top sports car, from the manufacturer. I hope they go through with creating another RX-7, as long as they don't stray too far from the lines of the original.......
