For me, GT is best when the racing is close, and the only way to win is to nail every corner perfectly and the slightest mistake will mean game over. Too often the aim seems to be owning the fastest car (or so it seems to me and my 11% completion).
So, what has been your closest race, best battle, hardest fought victory?
Mine was the Aston Festival in a V8 Vantage, heavily modded. The car handles great, if a little heavy, and beating the DB9 was a real challenge. I wasn't going to resort to buying one myself as I knew it was the prize car, besides the Vantage had cost me a lot of money. Autumn Ring took me 4 or 5 attempts to win, and it was great when I did. I think my Aston was maxxed out with S4 tyres if you want to try to recreate the race.
