I was gonna say petrol as well, but come think of it (Mostly because I have alot of fond memories from back then) - Diesel Exhaust on a bloody cold freezing morning... That has to be my favorite....

Rather, you dont sniff sand, you sniff airborne seasalt. Well you could sniff sand, but you'd get bad "stones".

Chanel #5, and the stuff that it's usually attached to.

Gasoline

A wood fire in the fireplace.

Sheets right out of the dryer, still hot.

Testors Model Glue. The old stuff, that came in the tubes. I loved that stuff growing up as a kid.

Bubble Gum surf wax, vanilla flavored Sex Wax. I miss waxing up my surf and bodyboards.

Auto Shop class in any high school. They all smell the same, and I love it.

Gasoline.

Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. I just made some yesterday.

The smell of, uh, a freshly showered woman's "down under", or at least the one's I have any memory of. A newly opened tin of Three Castles tobacco. A house where Thanksgiving dinner is being prepared. Italian resuraunts. Blue-smoke car exhuast on a bitter cold winter morning. The forest.

Bacon. I'll fry up a pound of bacon, just to contaminate the house with that smell.

Fresh meat, Diesel fumes, and :odd: the scent of macaw or a cockatoo.

And the smell of good Tequila.

AO

hey Milefile glad you mentioned the womans "down under" thing. i was gonna mention it but i wasnt sure how the moderators would see it.

Thats gotta be my favourite smell

I used to deliver the Chicago Tribune. I did it for three and half years. One year my route was a very rich area, all condos, so I walked most of it. I got over $1500 in tips that year. And my route was a mere 300 or so papers. The folowing year it was all driving, over 600 papers in an average middle class neighborhood, and I barely broke $500.00.

what about Fidel Castro's under arms....

apparently they are like the dew of a swiss mountain valley on a crisp summers morning....

well, have you ever sniffed them before....?

i swear its true...
