Was playing Need for Speed at a pretty young age (and Moto Racer 2 before then :D). Full list of racing games I've owned and possibly sold:

The good ones which I can remember:

Can't recall the names of a Game and Watch driving game or the 80's Grandstand? driving game that came in a mini cabinet with a steering wheel which moved a physical plastic car icon an a digital screen

I can't really remember any dreamcast, saturn, 3DO, PS1, or Jaguar racing games that I thought were worth mentioning. The only reason GT4 made the list was because I had 4 or 5 friends that I raced with like crazy with LAN at the house, and a few guys I raced online with. GT has always just had such a boring single player I always needed friends to race with to enjoy the game.
