What's your test track?

trial mountain, if i like the car or needs more testing i got to grand valley speed way and then autumn ring

tsukuba
laguna seca
nurburgring nordschleife

tsukuba lacks high speed corners but it's good for tuning slow speed stuff and sees cars first
laguna has a nice mix of everything and sees cars second
nurburgring is the final test and sees cars last or 1st if I don't feel like going through the above - best track in the game

Grand Valley Speedway East / Reverse. No, don't ask why. That and Deep Forest. And I always end up taking it around Nordschleife anyways, so I guess that too...

I use both Trial Mountain and Deep Forest for general testing, as they are two tracks I know very well, and I can quickly recognize car issues vs driver error. After that, I jump online and run wherever the rooms take me.

I always try to use a track in the Seasonal Event courses. That way I make money and set up my car at the same time.

I change courses to get wins on different tracks for my 1000 tickets too.

Once I get the set up right in a Seasonal Event, I take it online or into my Lounge to fine tune it for online racing. The course doesn't really matter to me because I'm checking oversteer mostly and can do that on just about any track.

It's surprising how much different cars drive when racing online.

Grand Valley Speedway

Old favourite, long straights, hairpins, chicanes...a couple of tighter than expected corners. A sweeper. :D

Since GT1... yeah, my test track. If its good on GVS, its good anywhere!

Sarthe without chicanes for gearing & figuring out the max speed, Daytona for just testing how fast the car can lap it. I am thinking of expanding my testing to various other tracks.

It was Autumn Ring but currently I'm using Trial Mtn.

I should make my own course for testing. You can make variations of the same track right? The possibilities...

Cape ring, love it! Has a bit of everything just wish you could take the wings off an x1 and shoot it into the sea.

Grand valley speedway all the way!!!

Midfield was always my test track. I don't know if there was any real advantage tune-wise, but it was fun and short, which is of the utmost importance when completing lap after lap after lap.......

I still haven't found my "test track" in GT5. Nothing really fits the my aforementioned criteria.

High Speed RIng - For race cars;
Eiger Nordwand Short Track / Reverse - For street legal cars;
Top Gear Test Track - I do hotlaps with standing start, which is a pain so I don't use it too often;
Nurburgring 24h - Only "special" cars get tested there (McLaren F1, BMW M5, Mercedes SLS, Zondas and some more), I like to see how well stock cars go through Nurby's corners.

Eiger is my primary test track, it tests the car's handling and acceleration better than any other track.
Great track.

I miss midfield so much!

Having a blast on it on a stock S2000 its one of my best GT2-4 memories.

Deep Forest for slow, nimble cars. I use this track to eradicate understeer

Daytona Roadcourse for fast, grippy cars. I use this track to test proper gear ratios for the long straight and rather fast corners

Nurburgring 24h if neither of the above tracks won't let me get a feel for the car

I have several Eifel circuits I use. I probably spend more time making test tracks then I do testing. Have about 30 so far.
