i just bought a logitech wheel and its harder then heck to drift let alone drift with it. Analog was so much easier i guess i just have to pratice

really? when i got my wheel i thougt it was hella easier... the only thing you have to get used to is auto-centering. with the d-pad or analog the steering automatically centers if you let go. but with the wheel you have to go back to center when exiting a turn (kinda like in real life). besides that counter-steering and gas-pressure are alot better with wheel.

oh yea, try changing the settings and calibration to your liking. just get used to it and i'm sure you'll change your opinion aboot the wheel

Use Amateur... I've been driving with Amateur steering for a long time now... Prof is just... strange to me.. Simulation? *haha.. don't even think about it* simulation ... you crash into a wall... or slip tooo much while drifting.. you have to STOP the car, and then restart it, but on amatuer, if ur good enough, or get lucky, you can control the spin..

yeah i found it hard at first also, but a with a little practice a wheel will make you a better drifter then you ever thought possible. Also simulation doesn't let you counter steer very much at all so it's really anoying. I started with Amature and then went to Pro after a few weeks.

Yeah all the new logitec GT force wheels are like that. If you can find the USB version called the "wing man" it has no bugs but it probably not work with any other ps2 game. It does work with your PC though. Also you might notice that if you try to change gears while turning it might not work.

wuuuuuuut?! so now i have to worry about buying a defective wheel?! o man, i was looking forward to getting one too. is it still worth the buy?

Yeah they all have those bugs so getting a another one wont help. Return the one you have and get the logitech wing man it's the exact same wheel but it's USB and has no bugs. If you can find the original Logitech wheel with the PS2 buttons on it, that one works great but you can't really find them in stores anymore. The MOMO wheel is also good; although, i have heard there are centering problems but has very good force feed back.

Yea just my shifters wont work when the wheel is fully turned. But that dosent matter i dont really need to shift that much it gets annoying. Drifting with a wheel is so much fun. Especially with the infini. But i keep spinning out or stopping the drift mid turn

try getting good at accel pressure. keep it in a certain gear and gas aboot 50%. or when you tap it and the car looks like its gonna spin out let go and countersteer. when it slides back gun it again and counter again. counter about 50% while doing this.

How do i keep from stoping mid turn, Like i jsut slow down and loose my drift in the middle of the turn i cant keep the speed up or anything.

trueno which one u think is better? this one

Sounds more like a problem with the tuning than your driving style. Either that or you are going into the corner too slow. Tuning is actually fairly important for drifting.

what about the mad catz steering wheel? i think it's called like mc2 universal or something..does that have a bug? and are you guys saying that the logitech gt wheel has a bug in it?..cause if so i'll probably get the mad catz..let me know..thanks

yo lotus 350 I know the momo one is better but I aain't reddy to spend 130-150 dollars. I asked which logitech is better not which one is the best. That is obvious thx for the info i already had
