sgllocalyou may laugh at this but i first started using a ironing board for my wheel. its height adjustable. can be brought right to the chair and is very stable. also added bonus is more or less every household has one and the wheel fits to it perfectly lol. try it and see

A friend of mine has that. Works like a charm. Easy to fold away too.
Always wondered how those work. Are they weighted on the bottom, like gym equipment?

What I like about the Xlerator stands vs the Wheel Stand Pro is that with the Xlerator you can lean all the way back in your couch or chair, instead of having to sit upright. It doesn't look like the Wheel Stand Pro can get all the back to a deep couch or chair, since the bar holding the wheel is nearly parallel to the foot of your couch/chair. I think the Xlerator is much more confortable, and cheaper, and with a wider base it will resist movement when you turn.

This thread is gonna make me a wheel user at last, as the struggle of mounting a wheel and pedals somewhere always stopped me from buying one, XL3 stand seems the perfect solution (especially as i like to lean back in the couch)
Wheel stand pro users? How's your lean back factor i'd like to know that also.
