I use my wheelstandpro with a G25 for years (waiting for my CSR Élite). It is very heavy and has a great stability.

Can I ask, how is this wheelstand pro with the T500?

I'm probably gonna seem budget as hell with mine lol. I use a plain and simple TV tray stand, it's not the best but it was around $10 and does the job.

I use a regular business style office chair, not in pic, and turn the TV so its facing me.

This works pretty good with the exception of drifting. The stand is a tad bit wobbly and doesn't really hold well with the rapid and constant "throwing of the wheel". I'll eventually upgrade, but for now, its what I use.

PS: not me in the pic.

Hats the best way to play with a wheel set off a couch. I would like to play with a wheel but I don't have room or money to have a rig that dominates a room. I would like something that's small and portable and easy to play sitting in a hair or on a couch.
Thanks

Don't you mean rim?

I know. Couldn't resist.:sly:

I used a T500 on my wheelstandpro for about two weeks before my Playseat GT arrived. It was fine and I didn't even own the WSP designed for the T500. My WSP was the regular Logitech version that I upgraded to the G27 version by ordering some parts from them for around $50. The only issue I had was I couldn't hard mount the pedals but they were so heavy they didn't move at all. I even had the Th8RS mounted on the shifter mount, although I flipped the mount upside down so it wasn't too high. There was no wobble or flex, even with the heaviness of the wheel on a WSP it wasn't designed for. I know they make one for it and I assume it's rock solid since it is heavier. I hope that helps.

Did exactly the same, had a WheelStandPro for Logitech bought a T500 RS.

Had the same problem with the pedal box, but sorted this with a few strategiclly placed cable ties.. Worked wonders pedals very secure now.

Would recomend the WSP to anyone...

I read wheel mounting and thought something way more disturbing and sexual. thought this was a thread for people who have sexual fetishes involving wheels O.O JK. I use a wheel stand pro because I current don't have room for a seat, I like it just fine

I use a folding table from Target ($20) and a folding tail gating chair ($15) and sit on a pillow. Works great.

That is exactly what I've been using. Yours must be sturdier than mine because I have to use a counter weight behind the wheel to keep the stand from tipping over. The whole thing is also a bit narrow which is making it uncomfortable to use when sitting in a normal living room chair. Your also correct about it being wobbly when constantly moving the wheel quickly.

I use a car amp as counter weight behind the wheel (can't really see it in the pick). Its pretty heavy and keeps it solid. Try a normal desk chair or kitchen table chair, it works better.

Love the wheelstandpro - built very solid, easy quick release adjustments. Have used with a couch but is better with a lower chair. I set it so it just barely stands on its own (without tipping over on the wheel side), and then with my foot on the base it isn't moving anywhere. Also nice that in a minute it's folded up and in the closet.
