Wheel rotation degrees?

As far as I know (but I'm no specialist) the lastest Logitech 900° wheel is the first to be close to real steering wheels. I don't think there are many cars (race cars I mean) with a rotation less than 720°. (that's one full turn to the left and one full turn to the right from middle position).
Game station wheels usually (those I know at least) have a rotation under 360°.
