wheel stand for g27 help

A while ago i had a thread discussing wether or not sure if to go with a triple mount screen setup or single screen setup.. well i nixed the 3 screen setup and now i'm looking to buy just a wheel stand without a seat.. I'm looking for something i can move out of the way or bring into play. The wheel stand pro v2 is all i can find..not sure about the pole in the middle tho. a lot of other ones i find are uk shipped and i live in the u.s. Can you all help me choose a durable stand? thanks.
 
I have a G25, and I find it fine. The post isn't a hindrance and it folds up nicely for storage. It is extremely sturdy and provides good adjustment.

Pretty sure that list is out of date. I do know you can't actually BUY an ApexVStand, and Fanatec doesn't make the Rennsport stand anymore, although the do have a new CSL Stand.

The Apex link is still there to show you their original stand. You can find these used online. I realize their new product has not been released.
Fanatec does offer a stand as you stated, the CSL. The Rennsport can also be found used online. That is were i purchased mine. Great stand, heavy duty, no wobble, the center post is not an issue with the pedals.

If you find anymore outdated info let me know and i will update.
 
I'd love to have found an Apex stand for sale, I waited for him to finally sell some for months before I gave in and bought my Rennsport.
 
Personally I would recommend the Wheelstand Pro - I've had two, one for my first wheel, the DFGT and one for my current wheel the T500RS. It has the advantage of better adjustability than some other stands - you really can set it to suit any chair. Regarding shipping, I can't comment on the USA, but my stands reached me in the UK from Poland within 4 days.

The only problem with a stand is the unrealistic position of the shifter, which if you use the brackets provided ends up like the dash mounted shifter you get in a Ford Transit van. I got round this problem by making a shifter console / extra sofa module.

I ended up getting an oButto setup later, and as it turns out the Fanatec stand was fine. Still always thought Apex's stand looked really cool.

Definitely the Wheelstand Pro - the quality and adjustability are superb.

It depends on how much you have got and if you got the money for the Wheelstand Pro go for that one.

Have a look at the Fanatec CSL wheel stand.
 
Wheel stand pro. I have the dfgt version. 3mins to setup out of the box. Very sturdy. All the tools in the box. And it gives a perfect driving position sitting on a sofa. I wish i bought one years ago
