I just had the FF motor replaced on my Fanatec CSR Elite. While I waited on the new motor I did use my old Logitech G27. And therefore I had to increase my FF setting in GT6 to "6". With the new motor in the CSR-E I had to lower the FF setting to "1" again and it still is stronger then in my real car.

And I drive 235 Michelin cup tires on my Megane RS. To turn that wheel you have to use both hands! No finger steering here. And still the CSR-E is stronger than my car.

I use a DFGT with FF set to 10. I found lighter settings less realistic overall. Somehow the steering doesn't feel quite right, too stiff at times and too light at others when compared to real life. 10 seems the best compromise to me.

Steering on real cars varies immensely, from cars with no power assisted steering, to cars with huge steering wheels from the 70s, to variable weight steering to modern cars which allow you to adjust steering weight so I suppose that would be quite hard to mimic in the game.
