The lack of this feature is a major shortcoming of GT6 in my opinion. It is one of the most basic ways of tuning a vehicle's dynamics.
I have a very hard time tuning my C5 to neutral handling with good traction for corner exit. I've tried tuning the chassis of the C5 in GT6 with poor results. If I get it neutral in cornering, there is not enough traction to power out of a corner because the rear end is just too stiff. The inherent issue is not having enough front end grip.
Part of the reason for my complaint is that I have a C5 and I use 4 Z06 rear wheels to run "square." This enables neutral handling with stiffer front end (springs and sway bar) for less dive under braking and better turn in response, but still adequate squat for corner exit traction.
Overall, GT6 dynamics are amazing. Chassis tuning has a much greater effect on handling than in previous titles. There is more roll. The suspension is really working. The tire models specific for all-season, summer, and competition tires are noticeably improved as well. I would just appreciate more freedom to tune cars to neutral handling. It would be much better driving practice for me to drive a front-engine car that generates more slip angle mid-corner. I simply can't get the C5 to handle in GT6 the way that mine does in real life. It is not just the C5, either. Many cars are crippled by this limitation. In terms of road cars, the Honda/Acura NSX is the best neutral handling car I've found.
Also, if anyone has an example of another front engine road car that is close to neutral handling, I would appreciate a suggestion! For example, I loved the way the 370Z handled in the July GT Academy qualifier.
