Current best wheel for GT3: MoMo (the red one!). However, this one is no longer being produced! So it's hard to find and always expensive.

Second best and available: Logitech Wingman GP FF (the red one!). I just bought another one around the corner, these are still widely available and believe me it's better than the Driving Force, and works better with more games. This is the same wheel as the GT Force wheel that GT3 was designed for, and I've tested it with many other games on the PS2, and it works fine also with the PC.

I'm have tested the following Wheels with GT3

Momo Force ( red PC Wheel )
I'm think it is the best Wheel for GT3 !
But if You had conected a other Wheel before, You must delete
the file : My System-Configuration from Your Memory-Card !!!
There are "seeming" two Types from the red Momo Force
The older one, has a stronger Force-Feedback !
+ Wheel and Pedals are verry verry precise
+ The Pedals are nice to controll
- By many Wheels of my Frinds, the screws from the Force Feedback Engine are to loosen.
- The Wheel must be calibrate new, by every new Start from the Playstation 2 .


GT Force
It is good and full compatible with GT3
+ The Wheel and Pedals are precise
+ Strong Force Feedback
- The Table mounting isn't safe



Thrustmaster Force Feedback Wheel
It looks like verry robust and the Wheel is precise
+ Verry Strong Force Feedback
+ Table mounting is good
- Stick-Shifter is wrong connected for GT3 ( Up-Shift = Down-Shift and Down-Shift = Up-Shift )

I'm dont like the Pedals. ( the death-zone is to big for me )




Lotus Wheel Dual Force 2 ( without Force Feedback )
The Wheel looks like verry nice but it isnt verry precise.
I'm cant drive good times with it




But that's only my opinion .

The Driving Force doesn't actually have hardware problems, they're problems with Gran Turismo itself which the "problems" are non existant in other games, it's strange.
