I don't mean to be overly rude, but why on earth would you want to 'pop a wheelie' in a GT car?

It's not a bike and it's not a dragster ... so ... I'm flummoxed.

If it's an answer such as "'Cos it's fun", then I suggest that you find a game that isn't centered around sports driving ... "Need For Speed Underground" or it's ilk spring to mind.

More informatively,there used to be 'wheelie' settings used in GT3 but I've not yet heard of any in GT4 (as I tend not to pay any mind to such topics; sorry).

that was on a certain track with a ramp prior to its landing, everybody gets air there going over 100 MPH usually...it really gets ur rear end down with a wing, it was a ramp not a wheelie

I think the Escudo/GT-one wheelie settings are the same as in GT3.
If you search the GT3 board, you should be able to find:
1) 50 threads with new members asking the question and getting flamed
2) The settings.

If they aren't actually the same, sorry for misleading you. The GT4 board top speed thread claims to have the wheelie glitch in it, but I'm not wading through that mess to find it.

The wheelie is not possible in Gran Turismo. The "wheelie" in the Escudo or GT-One are with massive downforce on the back, and none on the front. Therefore, if you go over iven the smallest rise in the road at speeds over 350km/h, the front lifts up. U cant "pop" a wheelie from a standing start. If u wanna get massive air like that screenshot, you need to go over a ramp, and its just luck wether or not u get the pic at the right time

The wheelie is not possible in Gran Turismo...

Be sure and have your facts right before making such a bold statement.

One can, in fact, perform wheelies in GT4, as they can in GT3, albeit it is a "top speed" wheelie versus a "launch" wheelie...

That being said, it's a novelty trick to exploit the physics engine in both games.
