Wheelstand pro upgrade DFGT/G27?

Hi fellas, more money than sense but here goes.


I bought a WSP for my DFGT awhile back. A stand I highly recommend by the way.

Trouble is I would like to upgrade my wheel to a G27. I was wondering if any other members have gone down my rather expensive route and tried to mount a G27 on a DFGT stand. (before anyone say's why didn't I buy a G27 off the bat, I'm asking myself that too.)

Sounds silly but there are unused mounting holes on the wheel stand and i wondered if the mounting plate is a set standard. If you know what I mean.

Pedals and shifter I have no clue about.

I'd be amazed if anyone's tried but this is the web after all lol.

Did you end up purchasing a G27 after all? And did you end up being able to mount it to the wheel stand pro for the DFGT? I'm in the same predicament as well. Let me know, thanks.

First I had a DFGT on a wheel stand pro, then got myself a G27. You need to get a upgrade from Wheel Stand Pro, I think it cost 29.99 euros. I hope that helps.

Do you know what that update consists of? I noticed that the base for the pedals was barely big enough for the G27 pedals since they are bigger than the DFGT pedals, but I could deal with that i figure out how to mount the pedals from below. I also cut a piece of wood that I used to mount the shifter so that was a quick fix.
 
The upgrade package comes with a new centre pole and a larger plate to hold your Wheel and a shifter plate where you bolt onto the wheel plate. Yes the pedals do fit m8.
 
im using a WSP with the G25 plate setup. I bought the G25 / xbox wheel dual setup and was using a DFP on it until i upgraded to a G27. stability wise it does wobble a bit and the pedals are a bit cramped. The G25 setup includes a shifter plate to mount the gearstick to (not that im using it in GT5) i use the paddle shifters. So far im very pleased with my WSP its probably one of the best purchases ive researched and gone with. The G27 version of the WSP looks larger and probably is more stable. But then i didnt have a G27 back when i bought it.
