I understand that people are upset because the lack of offline content, a lot less cars than previous GT titles, etc...
But, from there to assume that they aren't getting what they paid for is a huge difference.
Well before the game was launched it was made clear by Kaz and PD that the car list would be very different from previous titles, the game would be base primarily on online content and FIA sanctioned races, we shouldn't expect a offline career and the game would have between 100 and 150 cars at launch, 400 to 500 cars in total, with DLC by the end off the game lifetime.
I ended up buying the game, but, for much time, this was made to be the first GT game I would pass, until I had a change of heart, because I was aware that GT Sport was not going to be GT7.
You can complain the penalty system is broken (specially when they intend to make use of the "FIA License", Pd used some fictional models when there were real life models, just to take a shortcut on modeling more car models (GT-R gr.4 instead of 370Z GT4, McLaren 650S gr.4 instead of 570S GT4), that it's nonsense some parts of the game, as livery editor, missions or scapes are only available online, etc...
But you can't complain about being "cheated" to buy the game because there aren't 1000+ cars on the game or there isn't a career grinding mode. I would love to have both, but it was clear for some years now that wasn't going to be on the game.
