PS4 is releasing next week. After watching the PS4 trailer I am so tempted to get it.

AC4 and KZ:SF are the 2 games I would pick up. But due to no backward compatibility I am going to wait. Probably early 2015 or late 2014. Since GT6 is going to be my most played game and there many other PS3 games I need to play.

1 week after release in Europe I think. Might get it sooner, might get it later. Depends on when Gamestop give me my copy of it.

Launch day. If I can't get a vacation day to get it at midnight (damn 3rd shift!) I'll pick it up when I get off in the morning.

Already preordered and payed for mine in early august, Sadly my order is scheduled to be delivered on 13 december. 2 weeks later than release. :(

Considering the fact that the damn thing is £100 more in Britain than it is in America, I won't be buying until the price levels out. Its like $400 in America, that translates into about £250, but somebody at Sony thought the number was too low and it looked too cheap so ramped it up to £350 whilst ignoring the exchange rate.

I'll get mine near the end of the first generation of the PS4 (before Sony releases a "slim"). In my experience, thats always the best time because the bugs of the originals will be worked out and before any new ones come along with the redesign.

Probably about 6 months from launch. I can then make a decision on what I do with my PS3, G25 etc. There will be a few more games out by then and hopefully any problems will have be ironed out.

Not getting a PS4 or X1. Perhaps if my son (turns 5 this sun.) showed interest in either I'd get both, but like me, he has no interest.

Probably next year's boxing day. Figured that would be plenty of time to have Sony work out bugs and any common manufacturer defects it may have.

Kinda sad that this kind of stuff is now expected.

But it's not only that. I'm also in for the Boxing Day bundles as well as launch titles dropping in price. I gave up on GT5 a long time ago, but only recently have I given up on NFS so I'll probably go back to the GT series again.

I'm getting it on the 15. Have it preordered on Amazon, and have free release day shipping on it, when I still had prime.

When the first next one with the bundle we want becomes available - currently no bundle preorders happening in the UK but there will be more options after the 29th.

I have actually took some holiday days from work to get it lol (and before I get a barrage of abuse its days from my holiday allowance ). I'm getting the Killzone mega bundle and I hope the shop I'm getting it from does a midnight launch.

If the PS4 comes out with a decent open world game like The Getaway 3 i may consider it.But i didn't get past the part where Mark was dressed as a BT engineer, so probably won't get a PS4 anyway.

Taxes and distribution aren't free, though. I think I read on a Kickstarter for some other device that taxes in the EU bump the price up by 20-25% over what it would be in the US, so that's already up to £300 (20% of 250 is 50), then you have to ship them here as I'm sure they're not made in the EU, and then there are other fees I imagine (I have no idea) so it's not as if Sony have just bumped the price up for a laugh; even if they had been made here as well as wherever they actually are being made they'd still be more expensive than in the US because of taxes.

I'll be getting mine for MGS V, possibly shipped to me from the States as my Sister is going there in March.

There are a few good looking open world games due - Dying Light, Witcher 3 - or are you looking just for driving games?

The Crew is one - others are The Division and Watch Dogs.

I have no interest in driving games MeanElf.I would most likely find them two games boring anyway.I only liked The Getaway because it was in London and things were recognisable.

Due to money issues I won't be able to get it on Launch, sometime around Christmas instead.
