When hard drives go bad

I've totalled 3 HDDs, due to corrupted drives and also by deleting/installing some stuff which made my PC go mad. Luckly I have 3 back-up CD-RWs for all my stuff (MP3s and videos though). I was left without a PC for something like 1 month ++. Damn it was tough living without a computer these days.

It seem's like I will soon be losing another Hard Drive. Each week my Hardrive is losing 1GB, and im down to 5GB on my Hard Drive.

Here's what I suggest doing:

Delete all the stuff in your Recycle Bin
Empty Protected files if you have an un-erase program(Like Nortan)
Defrag all of your partitions

I'm serious. Please help me out.

If you have one of the latest version of norton antivirus or norton systemworks there will be an addition option when you right click the recycle bin.

Defrag is located in the accessories/system tools on the start menu. I suggest use it often.
