since the canadian version of games are EXACTLY the same as the american one, it'll either come out the same day, or 2 days later to put in french instructions.

No it hasn't been scrapped, the compiled thing your talking about is the GT4 Prologue Version which is being released to keep the fans happy because GT4 won't be finished until next year. And it will be released in December for Japan and probably January for the rest of the world.

And I would say the Canadian version is just the US one so basically whenever it comes out in the US is when you will get it.
