Well, here's the thing: it was never officially announced that it was going to be DLC. So, there's a large chance that we may not get it. That's how fickle PD is.

I think they will just save it for the next series. Doesnt seem like they have been having good luck with the hybrid cars lately.

This, basically. There is just as good of a chance that we will get it than we wont, but the long and short of it is that Acura may have just felt GT would be the best way to show off the car and have no intention of wanting it in the game proper until all of the specs for it are finalized.
