...what would you do?
OK. I'm in registration at my school. Now normally, we have 20 minutes after luncbreak before the final lesson for registration. For sometime now, our tutor has been off due to a couple of reasons I won't go into, and if supply teachers or head of years for important reasons (career wise), we're left to our own devices. Which would be fine if I had a good tutor group. 3 out of 4 tables in the FOOD technology room (yes you can see where this is heading) are fine. The other table is full of the worst people you could ever meet. One has a lighter, one has stitches in his leg, one keeps messing with the mixer, another keeps messing with the electrical equipment (microwaves and cookers), the rest are fine but are delighted to get into rather silly situations.
Anyhow, enough of the background. This is what happened today. I was happily sitting on the table in the middle (my friends being stupid, hiding my bench under the table ) and the guy on the girls table invited me over. Now this guy can act rather stupid at times and I expected him to not be any different. So I take my chair over there. The bastard starts feeling my leg but I fend him off. Suddenly out of nowhere I see a barrage of pens, rulers, folders etc flying across the room, and my little "friend" jumps up and starts getting involved. I see a chair getting raised and immediately shout "**** IT!" before getting my bag and coat, and walking out the (now damaged) door, dodging a low flying folder on the way. Now I stand outside taking quick breaths on my Inhaler (being Asthmatic, I really was under stress). A teacher passes the room and enters. Lighter guy and his friend run past me down the stairs. Now it turns out one guy threw a mixer at the light causing the aforementioned home furniture to the floor, smashing.
I then walk off to my lesson. Now what would you do in my position? Considering I am a scrawny piece whose only weapon is words, not fists. Anyhow, thanks for me letting me get this off my chest and feel free to discuss.
