Like most players in Gt7, I initially hated the Tomahawk range for 2 basic reasons.
I naively expected to be instantly good with it and was trash, and more to the point, other Tomahawk driver behaviour.

Nearing boredom with the negative aspects of the game architecture, and having done everything ad nauseam, I sold over 400 cars to buy up legends.

That worked for a while, but boredom returned.

Then I watched a player from Britain do a sub 4 minute Nordschleife in a Tomahawk X.

I thought, "Wait a minute, if she can do that, maybe I missed something first time."

So I bought the SRT-R, cruised around "slowly" for a while and as I got the handling wired in my head, then kicked it in the guts.
Wow, I could actually drive it.

So, time for the big brother

As with the R, I took it really easy, it took about twice as long, but now it seems natural, and I really want to race it.

There's my problem, I've seen one person out of the mass who could also control it, everyone says "no Tomahawk" because of the players who troll with it, and there are no races for it in the game.

I'm looking for the like minded few who can actually drive it as it was meant to be driven, and would rather lose than cheat, to start racing the X, and just perhaps, make it popular.

Cheers
Mick

I wasn't going to, but why not; my best effort with the X so far is a 3.15.714 at Nordschleife.

That's a long ass post before flexing 😁

That's some serious reflexes right there.
That's what I thought about the super formula race on watkins glen too :D
If you practice enough/repeat the race over and over again you will learn how the cars behave, what you can and can not do. And suddenly you will be able to correct the steering in the blink of an eye :D

That's the message I'd like the haters to get, i386, it is doable, but it's like a big superbike, you can't just strap it on and expect be fast, or it'll eat your lunch.

Most people will dance the "Rick O'Shea" for a while, like my first attempts.

There is one negative/advantage of mastering the Hawk, it changes your perceptions of "fast"
Even the F3500, my previous favourite, is turgid and sloppy by comparison now.

Well, I just set up a Ewe-Chewb account to post Tomahawk race vids.

Granted, it's only me racing the robots, but beggars lack the luxury of choice.

The first one is a short blat at Autopolis.
