Who needs a xbox? I gotta PS3!
I've been looking for a pre 79 race car for the challenge & I just can not find one except for the ones in the new car show room for 20 million credits!

I check the used car lot every few races but no luck & I did not get one as a prize car & it's really starting to bug me!

All the ones you can buy are way too expen$ive anyway. Get a '69 Camaro Z28 from the Chevy dealer with all upgrades including the racing mod. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 400,000 credits all up, if I recall correctly.

This is certainly the one of the best options is money is an issue, though it does require a solid performance on the track.

You win the Toyota 7 in B-spec "Like the Wind" at level 21. To win that however, you need the Toyota Minolta 88, which you get from doing the same event in A-spec. This time using a Corvette ZR1 with race mods and full engine upgrade. Costs about 700k in total.

When you finally get the Toyota 7 (I haven't driven in yet), you'll notice there is no chance in hell you'll make it on Monaco because of its handling.

I was lucky and found a guy who traded me a Ford Mark IV. Did have to make faultless laps with racing soft tyres to win on both events. First course by disabling the Toyota 7 (ramming it to place it last), and second course without having the 2J in the starting grid.

Your best bet for both events would be to find a used 2J i reckon.

Edit: You can use the ZR1 to win the American Championship aswell (both A & B-spec), so its not a waste. The car is actually very good with racing mod.

My 2 cents..

Saw some other guys in another thread beating Monaco with the Toyota 7, so it is doable. Although the car does not seem to be agreeable :)

Sorry about that.

alextehkid basically right but you dont need the minolta. get the mazda furai concept from the bspec nra roadster cup. put in the large turbo, maximize downforce and "like the wind" will be a cake walk. dont freak out when you see it has low hp the car is light so it doesnt need much power and handles on rails.

You would need the Minolta for the B-spec drivers. You should be able to win with the Furai like you say in A-spec however. That car is simply amazing. Saves you the credits for the ZR1 :)

Looks like I have to get down to grinding out the credits!
I wish we'd get credits for online!
