Trident Video Accelerator Blade 3D/ProMedia 21MB

this is my video card....where can i upgrade it?????

Sounds like you have a PCI card. You can go to any computer related store or online store and buy a new PCI video card.

Does anybody know how to disable an onboard video card. I've pretty much given up because I looked in so many forums relating to this. I've checked for jumpers, in the bios, disabling in Device Manager, nothing! I have win98 and the onboard is only 8mb and I spent 200$ for a 128mb card, and I'm gonna be pretty pissed if I can't use it, anybody know any thing to help?

It's done through the BIOS.

I've checked there up and down and all around. I've looked at the forums and it's probably a chance the BIOS isn't up to date. I have dl a proggie that id's my BIOS number, but no site had an update for my BIOS :(

What is your BIOS manufacturer? Award, American Megatrends, Biostar, etc.? It should say it when you start up the computer, the very first screen.

Um since we are on the same subject, where can I find the config for the video on a Phenoix BIOS?
