Just got the game last night and got a chance to start playing today.
I bought a Viper GTS, did a race in Arcade, scrubbed some walls and went through a gravel trap.
Now back to the main page, and the car still shows the cosmetic damage and dirt.
Went to my garage, couldn't find anything about fixing it or washing.
Even went to the livery editor and tried painting it a different color! But the scuffed out areas where paint was rubbed off are still bare on the new paint job, and car is still dirty looking like before.
Going to have to have serious talk with the body man at that paint shop! LOL
I'm either doing something wrong, missing something obvious, or there is an issue with the game here.
Any help appreciated. Thanks.

good question.. I noticed many things present from previous GT's but without the options to select or choose.. Seems like the game will get many updates and will be more full with features and cars etc. My BMW was also dirty after online races but after a while it gets clean! ;) tuning and washing is missing at this moment.

I had the same problem. The only thing that worked for me was to go into a time trial and do a pit stop. This seems like an issue with the game. It should either reset after use or there should be a wash/repair option, but pit stops appear to do the trick.

Time trial washer? Just going into time trial (or race), doing a couple laps and exiting didn't do it for me. Had to pit.

Startup GT6. Kidding!! :-) there are a lot of things missing that we were used to in GT6. Why remove that from a new release/Version. Don't understand it. My question then is, how is all this information getting to Polyphony so that they can fix it.

Being called GT Sport and not GT7, I expected a certain amount of concessions known to the numbered entries. Hopefully PD will appease the fans and patch in some of these mainstays. Take GT5's original release and version 2.0... I'm still optimistic.
