I am hours away from B-Spec level 40 :) and A-Spec level 32. I have done Grand Valley 300m, Roadster4 hours, and the Indy 500 ( had to have the Jaguar :) ). I am going to go back and run the Laguna Seca and I may, may do the 4 hour Nurburgring and that will be it for on the endurance races. My hat is off to those who go all the way through. The only thing that might motivate me to do anything past a four hour race would be a drop dead car, no 24 hour races though. Who else is nixing the 24hr enduros?

I am nixing the 24hrs. When you can buy the prize car with just a little patience. Aslo, no saving for endurance's completely seals the deal for me.

9 hours on the slightly over 1 mile Tsukuba track... Yeah f'n right!!! :p

Same for me as the rest of you by the look of it. I certainly won't be doing the FGT races to get a lousy (prize wise) Caterham

The only enduro I'm even considering is the Indy 500, for the glorious XJ13 prize. Quicker to do that that grind for the money

I'm in the same boat as you guys. I have the 9 hour and 2 24 hours left. Until PD incorporates a save function I will NOT be doing those. My fat PS3 wouldn't be able to survive the torture.

maybe i will try tsukuba 9h but i m not sure... i haven't done yet and the four hours with mazda, which i will, but don't know when

Good luck, just 4 hours I was ready to pull my hair out!!

I'm planning a Le Mans party on June 11th, invite over all my petrolhead mates and do the race as a team at the same time as the real guys.

No idea what I'll do for the Nurb race, we're on holiday that weekend!

I'm done at Nurburgring 4Hours ... The Suzuka Enduro was long enough for me thanks! Nine hours at Tsukuba wouldn't be too bad for me, keep it competitive with my Mazda MX-5 and I'm sure I'll have a great time doing it ... However, I need a save function before I'll consider doing the nine hour one, I'm not even thinking of doing the 24 hours atm.

Done Grand Valley, Indy 500 and Laguna Seca. Can't be bothered to do the Roadster, might do it soon, or might never do it and leave my A Spec on lvl 29.

I got through the whole A-Spec like one week ago (just one day before the update), when the Exp prizes were still ridiculously low. I was thinking of stopping at the 24h of Le Mans, but I grabbed the nerves to grind my way to level 40 and do the 24 of Nurburgring and succeded and got a nice trophy along with the feat.

Now I'm grinding the B-Spec just to get the Platinum trophy (just 2 trophies left, both from the Bspec mode), Is not that I feel joy doing B-Spec nor I care about finishing that stupid game mode, but now that I'm so close to get the platinum I ain't gonna stop. Currently at Level 35.

I'll stop at the endurance races. Current;y level 28 and want to get to 30 for the Vettel challenge. Only done half of the extreme races, but I'm finding it hard to fit in the championship races.

I traded for the cars that I really wanted a while back, and considering there is b-spec remote races with people racing for you, I can't think I'll be stuck for money ever again, just leveling a-spec for XP now.

I used to love the endurance races in GT 2 when I was at Uni, but I had a lot more time then than I do now. I'll only attempt them if PD include a save option as well.

👍

I have yet to complete the Formula GT championship (only thing left to do in Extreme Events for me). I've already completed Grand Valley 300km, the dreadful Roadster 4 hour endurance, Laguna Seca 200 miles, and I'm on track for Indy 500 and Suzuka 1000km. I'll probably go mad and attempt both 24 hour races (because I want to beat this game 100%, and I feel the need to complete everything when I've put so much time and effort into whatever it is that I've been working on), but if that doesn't work out, I may just stop after the Tsukuba 9 hour endurance. Or even after the 4 hour Nurburgring endurance.

I'm still waiting on that in-race save feature PD. :yuck::grumpy:

Stopped before the endurances, i'd rather play online and trade for the prize cars then waste my time with them

Where does A-Spec stop for you?
==============================

No stopping. Trying my best to get the Gold Trophies from Lvl 1-40, Gold all licenses, Gold all Special Events and finish the bonus games PD would give. Right now i am testing GT cars for the Lvl 40 (if this is the last - hint: i see more) Will work on my B-spec though.

The one thing i am sooo disappointed with Polyphony is, How come they put the Le Mans Cars in 24 Hour race of Nürburgring Nordschleife? We already use those cars at Circuit de la Sarthe. Big disappointment. Isn't it supposed to be competition between Touring Cars and GT endurance racers?!
And to top it, you can overtake ALL these Le Mans cars before the first corner! using a GT lower end car. No competition even. Give us Level 50 and i will understand. Are you listening Polyphony?

Is there a thread here for LVL 40 and beyond?

Ive only had a PS3 and GT5 since xmas, never played any racing games until i tried GT5,i think the game is amazing, ive improved slowly at first. Then i found this forum,i got some great tips,it helped me improve my driving alot.Im at level 35,i dont think i will ever get fed up with A spec,i love racing, trying to beat my lap times+finishing times!

Tsukuba 9h one time, then I tried Le Mans 24h but ended the race after 2 hours.
I did Nurburgring 4h 5 or 6 times but I guess everything gets bored sooner or later if you only repeat it long enough.

I'll be trying to complete it all. I finished the Le Mans 24h over the span of four days. All I have left is 24h of Nurburgring. I'm at level 38 now and hit a pretty big wall. You need 6 million pts of exp to get to 39. It's really nuts :(

A-Spec Ends at 9 hours on Tsukuba. NFW I am gonna do that, I'd rather drink bleach.

I probably may try the 24 hour races over a weekend or so. MAYBE

Well, I don't get why so many people are stopped by the endurance races. I've completed Le Mans 24H in 3 stints - granted, it's taking a lot of effort and even a bit of "strength" since playing so much *will* cause your muscles to hurt (with a wheel, a pad might be easier, tho), even for someone who's into sports, like me.

But then again, nothing like crossing the finishing line after such a race. And even if you need 7 days to play through: you did it! That's the feeling that GT is about, always been about that.

The endurances are what GT is all about for me. So far, I have only ran the GV 300 but I will do them all, mid race save or not. I bet I will run Nuerburgring 4 hours ten plus times before I'm done.
