Where would you rank the new GT5 physics, from TT demo?

And what do you propose is the other 95% porcent? In my opinion, what he said is enough to bring the % of simulation under 60%.

You are looking at only the things it does not have to gauge how complete it is without looking at what it has? And this, without agreeing on what a complete sim would be. That does not sound right.

On a positive note i must add that they have improved the weight transfer and g-forces in the TT demo, in Prologue it was really bad. So atleast some improvement, but still, a simulation requires much more then that. But i find it more enjoyable to drive now since it requires more throttle control to control the car.

Complete sim = indistinguishable from real life.

Once again, what he said is enough to bring the % down to 60%, regardless of what other things the game has. If you want to say I'm wrong, however, please tell me what does the game has that makes it a simulator worthy of a 95% rating on the Simulator scale.

Close the thread since its very irrelevant to anything..
It's like saying that 2020 Mustang GT will be best car ever..

That's ridiculous. Americans can't make great cars.

Sure they can, as long as they're designed in Europe and assembled in Canada from parts made in Mexico.

(Yes, I stole that from The Simpsons)

I had better add my two bob's worth..
I havent been enjoying my GTP for some time due to work and building a MR2 track car. IT is a pretty high spec weapon and a total blast to drive.
I have been watching a few you tube video's on a few games along with ten years of enjoying the whole GT franchise to gauge a response to this question of how good is the game.
Im sure that the PD team have set their goals to what they see as being the most well delveloped GT installment to date and Im 100% they have achieved their goal with many supporters providing full support. Have they made the complete immersive sim? No, but their are ticking all the boxes they have created from their own brain storm sessions and the input from valuable forums like GT planet.

Someone made a very important comment on the last page regarding FFB for the pedals. I never thought of this but its brilliant. Why has this not been addressed before?
This MUST be the next step for sim racing. Think about it..
Also changing track characteristics. This too will be the future for sim racing.
And what about the noise of race cars with no sound deadner! The rubber smashing against the innner gaurd when you get off line..noisy but magic. And the lack of grip! damn...

Is it 100%? If there are milestones in the evolution of racing sims GT5 will met that milestones 100% but their is always always more improvement to reach perfection.
How far till they meet perfection?
MAny years, but Im happy to enjoy and appreciate their efforts on the way to perfection.
Its a bit like building a car and developing if you know what I mean..

I believe the Club Sport pedals for the Fanatec wheel have FFB (or something similar) don't they?
