Where has Endurance racing gone?

I have only had the game so far for a weekend, as I borrowed it from a mate. However, after a lot of game time over this weekend I have nearly completed the "Expert" section of events.

Out of interest, thinking that there would surely be myriad more events in Extreme than in Expert, I looked online, only to realise that there are still only 9 events there!

Although I adore the game (my Signature Edition is hidden in the house from me somewhere for Christmas ^^ ) it feels all too similar to the very quick to finish Gran Turismo 3.

I would imagine that GT6 will be to 5 what GT4 was to 3, and that's a bit of a shame for now, I suppose. However, hopefully with plenty of DLC (Veyron Super Sport in PREMIUM, please :D) such as extra events (The tracks are all there, we just need the actual events, how on earth can Le Mans be absent!) this will give the game more longevity.

They start unlocking at level 25, all the way to level 40.. So the endurance races haven't gone anywhere. Just takes 10 years to get them unlocked.

I am still hoping that more events and cups and such can be added at a later stage.

I don't see why it'd be too ambitious to think so, with no new circuits to be added, all they need is the information about the event, the limitations of it and the car that'll be given as a prize.

Could happen lads! :)

I was worried too. But some are saying that they get unlocked eventually. Oh, and by the way, you have a really good friend. I´m a nice guy, but I rather give 75 bucks to any of my friends so they can buy it instead of them taking mine. Just to think one day without GT give me the :nervous:

Haha, he had an awful mix of a lot of work, football (soccer, Americans :rolleyes: ) and his job over that weekend, so I was like "PPLLLEEAASSSEEEE!!!!" haha :)
