Well, what say you?

I want to go Go-Karting for my 17th with some mates and I want to know people's...mainly Melburnians...opinions on what the best track is. Does 'nt matter whether it's indoor or outdoor.

Around which area do you live? Victoria is a pretty big place, I'm sure your parents wouldn't like driving 3 hours each way to a go-kart track.

If your near Moorabbin (sp?) there's a go-cart track there. If you have a Melway; Melway Ref. 77 K7. Its an indoor track BTW.

EDIT: It probably is worth going there if your in Dandenong; i live about 5 km towards city away from the go-cart track and i think it takes about 20min to drive from Dand' to where i live.

Ok, cool, a local boy. I'm in Lysterfield 👍

Obviously the place to go it Le Mans in Dandenong South. I haven't been. But it looks the part.

I've been to one that I think was in Huntingdale? Although I can't remember the name, it wasn't bad. Also I've been to Sidetracked, which is in Oakleigh South if it still exists. That has laser challenge too, which is always a blast.

EDIT: And yeah, Moorabbin isn't that big a drive, unless it's peak hour, then you're screwed.

You are talking about side-tracked and Im in Caufield BTW. And the gocart track at sidetracked is CRAP.

EDIT: happy bday if your bday is close by

EDIT2: You WILL get OWNED in peak hour

Yeah I agree. But it's better then nothing. Although I almost got kicked off the track because my mate cut me off and then slid out. Also my brother got his two front teeth knocked out during a Laser Challenge session .

EDIT: Oh, by the way, you know both I and Turbo Lag are coming along now :sly:

 some dude kicked me off the track cause i was ramming my mate.

And yes, now that we know where, all we need to do is know the time :sly:

Yeh that one in moorabbin looks good. It;s not all that far from where my mum lives so it's all good. I went and had a look at it and my mate said he had awesome fun when he went there.

Ive been to sidetracked...didnt really like that...

Havent heard of the one in Dande south..might check that out...

Thanks blokes

The best go-kart track I have been to in Melbourne was Ace Karts. It's probably too far away from you though, it's located in Sunshine. Also it's a bit over priced.

Here's a picture of the track and a little write-up about it.

"Our go karting track is the biggest and most challenging hire track in Victoria, with corners that are up to 12m wide - including the hair-raising turn 1, which comes directly off our 105 metre straight."
