I am looking for inspiration for my own cockpit, but I cant find the thread where people have posted it

(I am especially looking for the cockpit in a long box (So it was easy to hide)

NIce thanks deckard cain, btw is it possible to see "freely" around in iRacing in the cockpit? Just wonder if you could mount a gyroscope or compas on SONY hmz-t1 for it to track where I looked at so I could look in side mirrors and such?

Just get a trackIR 5 it's brilliant. Been using every iteration since the first one. I don't game without it.

Yes, you just have to either mount the track bracket dots to the helmet or use the track clip pro. But there are YouTube videos of people using it with HMDs. It's the same as using it with a conventional screen, but better as you can set it to 1:1.

How do you like the HMD? Been looking to get one but always sold out.

Whoa never seen that thing before.

Two questions; does it plug in or is at all wireless; and can it be used with PC games (ie iRacing and RFractor)

It can be used pretty much with any HD soure. It's the best HMD ever released to consumers. TrackIR works only with PC and does work with iracing and rfactor. For people who Don't have triple monitors it's a must have.

Dont have one, just figureing out the perfect simulator for me :)

The problem with the head mounted devices is fairly low resolution and low FOV. The TrackIR will help with this, but I don't think head mounted devices will catch on until they offer a larger FOV.

I use TrackIR 5 and triple screens, works great!

Well I would like to limit the amount of space hte setup consumes :)
