I don't think seeing a room full of riced out orange Supra's on every track where 14 year old Fast and Furious fanboys have taken over would be so great.

+1 to that 👍

It's funny how people paint their cars a colour (lets say red) and they paint the rims blue or green to make them look.....stylish?

But you probably never heard what ridox is so doesnt matter!
Your right, I have never heard of ridox because i'm not a ricer. To be honest the body kit and the wing make that Supra look horrible. I'd never do that to a Supra. I guess different strokes for different folks huh?

its one of the rare functional kits for the supra so its not a ricer. Alsmost all time attack runn that kit!

Its rice because there is no way that car ever sees the track

Sorry to break it to you but that is Manabu Orido's D1GP car so it sees enough drift and time attack events, i hate when people post stupid comments on stuff they don't know s**t about!

Thumps Up for the Supra.

But dear PD, once you convert the Supra into premium, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do the same with the Mitsubishi 3000GT. An Icon of a Car for its technologic Advance in the 90s.
There was a german Mitsubishi-Dealer called Norbert Winter, who made an official tune for this car. Called a WINTER-GT, this one cranked up 400hp, and had a tested Vmax of 299km/h. 70-90 where converted, mostly with 0 Miles on the clock. 60-70 of them german versions sold in germany. Some others spread over Europe. Now that is a typical GT5 car. (like the Mines, Nismos, Spoons, TRDs and so on...)
(Specs are bigger intercooler, dual-pipe exhaust, increased boost, and some other minor changes)

Oh, and while you convert the second Generation 3000GT, please add a standard first generation 3000GT (i.e. 1993?). Since there are all the old generations of RX-7, 300ZX, Skylines, Supras, etc.)

Thank you.

The supra should have been a premium car. Kind of a big mistake there. And the supra is still a dominant car in a some events.
I'm sure there are lots of cars people don't understand aren't premiums, but the supra has got to be a top 5

The GTO/3000GT was much more significant from a technological perspective (namely the initial models with active aero) than the Mk4 Supra.

Though for such a fan of the 3000GT you should know there was only one real generation, which received a facelift in 94/95 depending on the region.

To me, instead of ugrading the Supra already in the game, I would rather get a 2002 model.

This is a great way of thinking, they should do this with all their intended upgrades, don't upgrade current standards do another year or another variation from scratch 👍

I can also name about 25 other cars that must be premium but I would settle for a model variation or different year. Extra variety never hurts.

Seriously. Who played the original Gran Turismo and didn't use a 3000GT because the stock gears were good for something like 250 mph without having to fiddle with the gears? I'm really surprised that they didn't include the 3000GT and MkIV Supra in the premium list.

For those who didn't play the first GT, that was before the top speed adjustment that automatically adjusted all the gears for you; you had to actually adjust each individual gear which was a bit of a pain.

The Supra also has active aero, the fronts spoiler can be deployed depending on speed or manualy.

I'm more annoyed that with each gt iteration the cars get less tunablilty(Is that a word). GT3 my supra had 1000+hp, GT4 900 ish, gt5 only just over 700

On GT4 I could beat the LMPs and Group Cs on "Like the Wind". :grumpy:

1) I totally agree with you on the first comment

2) I am not a Fan... I am an OWNER! 1993 3000GT EU specs. Lock at the Avatar :sly::sly: And this one is not in GT5!!! (its in GT1 though :dopey:) Thats why I want it there 👍

And for the Generations: There were 3 Generations (same say 4, but that was really just a minor facelift change for the 2nd Generation in 1998)

Generation 1 (Mk I) 1991-1994
Motor
cast crankshaft, crankshaft housing double fixed, 5-Speed-Manual Transmission, OBD I, Brakediscs: (EU) 295mm Front, 284mm Rear
Body
retractable Headlamps, Rearbumper, Rearlights square, bonnet with hoods, Sideskirts testarossa-like
Inside
steering wheel, drivers airbag only

Generation 2 (Mk II) 1994-1998
Motor
forged crankshaft, crankshaft housing quadruple fixed, 6-Speed-Manual Transmission, OBD I-hybrid, OBD-II, Brakediscs: (EU) 314mm Front, 295mm Rear, hardened Gearbox, air conditioning changed
ECU changed: Lower fuel consumption, higher tourque, same HP

Body
normal Spot Headlamps, Rearbumper changed, Rearlights rounder, bonnet without hoods, Sideskirts 2-hole
Inside
steering wheel changed, 2 airbags

Both Generations were sold worldwide! Not depending on regions. Its not just a facelift. There were some major changes.

Generation 3 (Mk II) 1998-99 (US only)
Frontbumper, NO active aero, big EVO Spoiler, Headlamps including turnsignals

Still want the Supra Premium Though... 👍

Only if the its a targa top.... That would be amazing for the in car veiw. It also has one of the only stock blocks that can hold over 1000HP. The RZ is such a legend for it's ease of tuning and brute force. It handles well for a car of it's size, its relatively aerodynamic, and it's brakes IRL are monsters. The fact that it didn't need all of the tech the others did, and yet it still kept the pace, was quite impressive.

The supra...probably one of the best tuners in the game. Skylines cant keep up with it except the Amuse carbon r can get it on the start, but gets passed anyway. I'd love to see a premium supra, but i like the rarity of it.
