Where to buy MaxDrive

I have been looking at the weekly series since i joined up here and am very interested. but i dont know where to buy a "MaxDrive". I have never heard of them until now and dont have any idea where to buy them or how much they cost. if someone could let me know thatd be great

fasj was mentioning that if you have a chipped PS2, you can run copied Max Drive discs and use generic flash drives?

I have both, but for some reason I get errors writing to the drive when using the OEM Max Drive disk. I can write to the flash drive no problem saving photos so I know that the PS2 recognizes it...

Any ideas? I have a real Max Drive USB stick, but I'd like to be able to do more than 16 megs if need be...

At the time I bought mine, they still weren't too popular and weren't available in stores. Now they seem to be sold at games retailers and electronics chains everywhere.

I've heard of people getting them much cheaper on E-Bay though.

I just got mine off eBay and it totalled out to $29.00 after shipping. I got it within a week too.

Funnily enough, my local E.B did have one, for the low-low price of 85$! To put that in perspective, I could have almost brought 3 off play-asia for that price...

Got mine on eBay, but I got the Sharkport, because it was cheaper.

I got mine from Play.com for 10UKP delivered which I thought was very good value....

Just need to remember to use it now and send Flat-out some replays....havent forgotton Cyril...think its the dreaded "Will I manage to get the right replay to my pc scenario"...one of the Maxdrives downsides...
